A female villain stabbed a man
on the Fulton Mall on Aug. 31.
The victim told police that he
was arguing with the nogoodnik at
Elm Place just after 11 pm, when she
pulled a blade out of her back and
pierced him in the chest.
Paramedics rushed the victim to
hospital, while the attacker fl ed into
a building at the corner of Bond and
Livingston streets, according to police
reports.
Head banger
A woman suffered a concussion
after an outlaw violently robbed her
at her York Street home on Aug. 29.
The victim told police that the
goon slammed her to the ground
between Navy and Gold streets
at around 7 pm, before taking her
purse, which contained $600.
Battered
Some yahoo beat a man with a
bat on Sands Street on Sept. 4.
The victim told police that the
two relatives were arguing at Prospect
Street at 2 am when the galoot
whacked him in the face, chest, and
hand with the blunt object.
Big loot
A prowler bagged almost $26,000
in valuables from a guy’s car on Livingston
Street on Sept. 3.
The victim told police that he
parked his car between Boerum
Place and Smith Street at 7:20 pm,
and when he came back at 8:40 pm,
he saw that some scoundrel had
busted his passenger side window
and stolen his phone, cash, a gold
bracelet, watch, and ring.
Citi Bike swipe
A fi lcher stole a man’s rental
bike outside a Fulton Street bank on
Aug. 6.
The victim told police that he
left his Citi Bike outside while he
ran into the fi nancial institution at
the corner of Red Hook Lane to use
the bathroom at 3 pm, but when he
came back 15 minutes later, the twowheeler
was gone.

Arms attack
A gunman shot a guy in the arm
at St. Edwards Street on Aug. 31.
The victim told police that he
heard gunshots between Park Avenue
and Monument Walk at 9:20 pm,
before realizing that he’d been shot.
The man later went to Brooklyn
Hospital for treatment, cops said.

A restaurant owner scared away
a would-be robber on S. Portland
Avenue on Sept 3.
The victim told police that the
bozo went behind the register and
demanded that she put money in a
bag inside the eatery between Hanson
Place and Fulton Street just before
8 pm — but the victim’s husband
came over shortly after and
caused the criminal to bolt.
Sugar rush
A nogoodnik robbed a candy
store with a stun gun on Flatbush
Avenue Ext. on Sept. 4.
Store employees told police that
the sinister sweet tooth stole the
sugary treats from the shop at Fulton
Street just after 8 pm, and when
they tried to stop the candy crook,
he threatened them with a taser and
ran off before the authorities could
arrived on the scene.
Cop puncher
Police arrested a man for allegedly
punching a fellow boy-in-blue
at a Dekalb Avenue hospital on Sept.
4.
The victim told his fellow police
that he was guarding the suspect
at the health facility near Ashland
Place around 11:30 am, when the
man allegedly launched at him,
punching him in the face.
Paramedics rushed the offi cer
to nearby Kingsbrook hospital, and
another offi cer arrested the suspect
on felony charges of assaulting
a police offi cer, according to police
reports.

Bug off!
Police cuffed a woman for allegedly
stealing bug spray from a
Henry Street supermarket on Sept.
8.
An employee told police that the
suspect allegedly stuffed a bottle of
bug repellant, along with tuna salad
shrimp salad into her purse inside
the store on the corner of Degraw
Street at 7:07 pm before trying to
fl ee.C
ops arrived at the scene and
charged the 61-year-old woman with
petty larceny and criminal possession
of stolen property, according to
police reports.
Very angry orchard
Cops cuffed a teenager who allegedly
got into a fi ght with a security
guard after she tried to steal Angry
Orchard ciders from a Smith Street
pharmacy on Sept. 7.
The security guard told police
that the 16-year-old allegedly
grabbed two packs of hard cider and
a 12-pack of soda before attempting
to fl ee the store near Warren Street
at 12:25 am, and when the security
guard confronted her, she punched
and kicked him.
Police arrived on the scene
shortly after and slapped the teen
with robbery charges, according to
police reports.
Sock hawk
Police arrested a man for allegedly
stealing a $14 pack of socks
from a Court Street pharmacy on
Sept. 8.
An employee told police that the
suspect allegedly took a pack of
socks from the store between First
and Second places at around 2:30 pm
and tried to leave the store without
paying.
Authorities arrived on the scene
and arrested the man for petty larceny
charges, according to police
reports.

Three men were shot in the
Lafayette Gardens housing complex
on Dekalb Avenue in Clinton
Hill on Tuesday afternoon.
Paramedics arrived on the scene
near Classon Avenue at around 4:42
pm and rushed the victims to area
hospitals, cops said. One victim was
shot in the head and was in critical
condition, while the other two suffered
non-life threatening injuries,
according to police.
Video posted to the Citizen app
shows dozens of police units on
scene and a large pool of blood near
the apartment buildings entrance.
One tenant of the building said
the sound of the shooting woke
him up.
“I went downstairs and there
was a pool of blood with a guy lying
in it,” the resident, who asked to remain
anonymous, told Brooklyn Paper.
“This is out of control. It’s gotta
stop. You take a risk every time you
step outside.”
Another tenant of the building
said he was concerned for the safety
of his three-year-old.
“It sounded like fi reworks,” he
said of the fi refi ght. “It isn’t safe in
broad daylight.”
Following the incident, police
cordoned off the scene from Taaffe
Place to Kent Avenue as of 6 pm.
Cops have not yet made any arrests
in connection with the incident, and
the investigation remains ongoing.
As of Sept. 6, shootings are up
96 percent year-to-date in the 79th
Precinct, where Tuesday’s shooting
occurred, according to NYPD data.
The incident comes on the heels of a
particularly violent summer, which
saw upwards of 1,000 shootings citywide
as of Labor Day Weekend.
Tuesday’s shooting also occurred
near the 88th Precinct stationhouse
on Classon Avenue.
