Brandon Glasgow
Brandon Glasgow is a singersongwriter
originally from Littleton,
Colorado, but he has hung his hat in
Astoria, making it home for the past
seven years.
Writing and performing all over the
U.S., Glasgow creates a soul-infused
cocktail of rock, pop, blues and funk.
His songs have a polished poignancy
that reminds the listener that gentlemen
still exist.
Glasgow loves connecting with an
audience during live performances
around town, which he does solo or
with his band, Grey Scale. You can buy
his most recent release "The White
Whale" at www.bglasgowmusic.com.
There, you can also find a host of
original music and more information
about upcoming performances and
releases. He has an enveloping style
that is a perfect accompaniment to
the holiday season.

Hopeless Otis
Do you have a friend who plays Jawbreaker’s Biouvac on repeat and is in
the market for current local punk rock to add to their collection? Consisting
of Joe Dorane (vocals/guitar), Larry Spahn (bass/vocals), and Mike Paladino
(drums), Hopeless Otis is a three-piece punk band. Its tight, four-minute
songs tackle fears and aim to bring the positive back into punk rock.
The band members love their local Astoria home.
“You find anything and everything in Astoria; from beer gardens to
the best Indian restaurant in the country, it’s all there,” Spahn said.
Find their 2016 release "Dangerfield" or older releases on their Bandcamp
page at hopelessotis.bandcamp.com. Each energetic track on the record will
turn any bad, sluggish day around. You can also search for Hopeless Otis on
Facebook (HopelessOtisNYC) or Instagram (@hopelessotis).
