originally anticipated. They ended up getting
married on their rooftop, where they
also shared their first dance and toasted
champagne.
“Honestly, I thought we made awesome
lemonade out of the lemons we had. It could
not have gone better,” James Constantino
said. “We had a trial run an hour before the
actual ceremony and had my sister moderate
the meeting, to minimize tech issues, and
there were none. Everyone was able to see
and hear our officiant perform our ceremony,
Sarah’s dad’s toast and our first dance song.”
The use of Zoom helped the spouses maximize
their guest list and allowed family and
friends from all over the U.S. and the Philippines
to watch.
“Despite the less-than-ideal audio, our first
dance on our rooftop was pretty special. We
knew everyone was watching via Zoom, but we
were perfectly alone for the moment at the same
time,” Sarah Constantino said.
