Police are hunting the thief who
nabbed a man’s bag from his car
in Sheepshead Bay on Thursday.
Cops received a report that the
thug removed the 41-year-old victim’s
bag from his parked and unoccupied
vehicle on Harkness Avenue
near Plumb Third Street at
around 1 p.m. on Aug. 15.
The bag contained the victim’s
debit card, as well as his personal
and work identification, according
to authorities.
After grabbing the bag, the pilferer
— who was last seen wearing
a dark colored clothing, sneakers,
and a baseball cap — fled the
scene in a dark-colored, four-door
sedan, cops said.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured
in a three-vehicle collision in Canarsie
Monday.
A witness told police the 26-year-old
man was performing stunts on his Yamaha
motorcycle on Ralph Avenue at
4:30 p.m., when he struck a red Honda
Civic near Farragut Road, which then
smashed into a Nissan sedan.
The driver of the motorcycle sustained
serious injuries and was transported
to Brookdale Hospital, according
to police.
Offi cers issued the biker a summons
for operating a motorcycle without
the proper license, according to a
spokesman for the police department.
The drivers of the other two vehicles
were not injured during the collision,
cops said.
