7. SEWING MACHINE WIG MAKING
COURSE
If you’re looking to learn a new skill and
become your own boss, this one-on-one handson
class is perfect for you. Instructed by Nina-
Simone Jones, you will learn all her techniques
and tips, from prepping all the way to styling
and recommended products. Be sure to bring
a notebook and pen for notes and your own
styling tools. A sewing machine and kit will
be supplied for you. It is not required to bring
your own model, but it is encouraged.

8. YOUR QUEENS FIFTH ANNUAL
KWANZAA CELEBRATION
Join in on the fifth annual Kwanzaa
celebration. The celebration will include the
lighting of the Seven Kwanzaa Principles,
a dance performance by their princesses,
vendors, gifts, a DJ and delicious Caribbean
food. Admission is free, but donations are
accepted.

9. SKY VILLAGE NYC CAMP
On the week of Dec. 27-31, join Sky Village
NYC for a fun-filled week of arts and
collage.
This full-week camp is recommended for
children 5-7 years old. Most of the day
will be spent outside at one of the local
playgrounds, weather permitting, and the
art theme for the week will be “Out with
the old, in with the new.” Plan to pack a
full lunch and two bottles of water for your
kiddos.
