A fun day out at LIC Springs celebration
On a rare sunny spring Saturday, thousands of Long Island City residents enjoyed beautiful
weather and great entertainment during the LIC Springs festival on May 11. The sixth-annual
celebration encompassed Vernon Boulevard between 46th and 50th Avenues and included live
music, dance and theater performances, art and sculpture making, fitness classes and outdoor
