Phagwah parade brightens spirits in R.H.
Thousands of people converged upon Phil Rizzuto (Smokey Oval) Park in Richmond Hill on March 31 for the annual Phagwah Parade, a traditional
celebration of the Hindu Holi festival. Revelers covered each other in colored powderas part of the celebration. The march included colorful
floats and music through local streets. Sponsors included the Federation of Hindu Mandirs and the Arya Spiritual Center. Photos by Mark Hallum
