 Cops search for Maspeth robbery suspects 
 Police released images on Saturday  
 of  two  vehicles  used  in  a  robbery  
 attempt  in  the  industrial  area  of  
 Maspeth last week that sounded like  
 something out of an action movie. 
 Law enforcement sources said the  
 trouble began at about 8 a.m. on Feb.  
 27, when a 65-year-old man picked up  
 cash and checks from a location in the  
 vicinity of  54th Road and  46th Street.  
 He  then  began  driving  to  another  
 location. 
 Upon  arriving  at  the  corner  of  
 Laurel Hill Boulevard and Review  
 Avenue on the Maspeth/Long Island  
 City border, authorities said a black,  
 four-door Honda sedan driven by an  
 unidentified man stopped in front  
 of  him.  The  victim  then  noticed  that  
 a gray, four-door Infiniti SUV with  
 three unknown males inside stopped  
 directly  behind  his  car,  trapping  him  
 from behind. 
 Two unidentified men then got out  
 of the gray SUV and approached the  
 driver’s side of the man’s car, police  
 said. One of the suspects then smashed

 According to police, at around 11:45  
 p.m. on Feb. 13, a 22-year-old man was  
 walking on 72nd Street towards Roosevelt  
 Avenue when three men pulled up beside  
 him in a white Jeep. The crooks chased  
 the victim into a nearby parking lot, hit  
 him with a blunt object and demanded  
 his property. 
 The suspects took the victim’s wallet,  
 cellphone, keys, money and jacket before  
 fleeing  the  scene.  Police  say  that  the  
 victim was also stripped of his clothing,  
 however it is unclear how much of the  
 victim’s clothing was taken. 
 Officers from the 110th Precinct  
 responded to the incident. The victim was  
 taken to a local hospital for treatment.

 109th Precinct 
 Flushing 
 Burglar steals credit  
 cards and jewelry 
 from Flushing home 
 Police were searching for a female  
 suspect wanted in connection with a  
 recent  burglary  in  Flushing  that  cost  
 the victim thousands of dollars in  
 valuables. 
 According to the 109th Precinct, the  
 burglary occurred sometime between 2  
 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the vicinity  
 of Roosevelt Avenue and Parsons  
 Boulevard. 
 Law enforcement sources said a  
 53-year-old female resident returned  
 home that evening to find the front door  
 open. Once she entered her room, she  
 discovered that it had been ransacked,  
 and that a window leading to the fire  
 escape was left open. 
 Police  determined  that  the  suspect  
 stole four rings, a bracelet, two  
 necklaces, two credit cards and personal  
 papers. The loot had a combined value  
 of $4,480. 
 During their investigation, the NYPD  
 learned that the suspect used one of the  
 stolen credit cards to make a purchase.  
 Cops obtained security camera footage  
 from the store where it was used and  
 caught images of the perpetrator. 
 The 109th Precinct then tweeted  
 these images on Feb. 27, hoping that the

 113th Precinct 
 Jamaica 
 Robber takes cash, phone from Jamaica senior 
 Cops were looking for a crook who  
 they say attacked a senior woman in  
 Jamaica and stole her money and phone. 
 According to authorities, at 7:30  
 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2018, an unknown man  
 approached a 72-year-old woman in  
 a residential building in the vicinity  
 of Claude Avenue and Guy R. Brewer  
 Boulevard and choked her from behind. 
 When the victim pretended to go  
 unconscious, the suspect stole $180 and  
 the victim’s cellphone before fleeing  
 eastbound on Jennings Street, according  
 to authorities. 
 Officers from the 113th Precinct  
 responded to the incident. The victim  
 suffered minor injuries from the  
 incident; however, she refused medical  
 attention at the scene. 
 Police described the suspect as a  
 black man between 20 and 30 years of  
 age, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 150  
 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black  
 hooded overcoat, black jeans and black/ 
 white sneakers.
