teams from around New York City will take
to the floor to compete in the first annual
Ballin 4 Peace High School Holiday Classic.
Ballin 4 Peace is a charity event series
committed to raising awareness as related
to acts of violence within NYC and beyond.

3. KIDS WEEK: NATURE STORY TIME
Even when school is out, our parks are
still the city’s natural classroom. Bring
your kids to parks throughout the city
for Kids Week during winter recess.
With programs led by their Urban Park
Rangers, kids will get to experience
nature in a hands-on and fun way. Gather
in the garden to enjoy an afternoon of
storytelling.

4. THE QUEENS NEW YEAR’S EVE 5K
RUN/WALK
Start 2022 off on the right foot with this
evening 5K. Run through the paths of
Corona Park and earn some great swag to
commemorate your achievement. Great
way to start a New Year’s resolution. The
event will happen rain or shine. Make sure
to bring your own reflective gear and
headlamp.
