A lifelong resident of southeast
Queens, Adams was first elected
to the City Council in November
2017. She has funded top issues
in the district, including:

Singh, a young Sikh activist
from Richmond Hill, founded
a volunteer group called the
New York Sikh Council. His
campaign has been focused on
boosting civic engagement among youth in the
district and giving back to healthcare workers

from the City Council following
a corruption conviction, but
was recently exonerated and is
seeking a political comeback.

The first-generation candidate
has been working on the
betterment of District 29 since
he was 15 years old. His parents
emigrated from Uzbekistan and

Cyperstein gained firsthand

home for the past 15 years.
The queer mom, youth coach,
activist and nonprofit leader
was asked by her neighbors to
run for City Council due to her experience and
“unwavering belief” that all people have the same
