The workshop is open to children with special needs and the staff is eager and willing to make the necessary adaptations. The workshop is free and there is no need to preregister. The orchestra, a chorus of more than 125 members and soloists, conducted by David Close, will perform excerpts from Handel’s “Messiah,” Christmas carols and Chanukah favorites. Featured soloists are Geraldine McMillian, soprano, John Easterlin, tenor, Vaughn Fritts, bass-baritone, guest artist Cantor Jerry Korobow and with OSQ’s orchestra, the Orchestral Arts Ensemble of Queens.
