‘Chamber of Horrors’ will scare the yell out of you on L.I.
Th e 2017 haunt season is here and
Chamber of Horrors in Hauppauge is
back — bigger, better and scarier than
ever!
Chamber of Horrors draws visitors
from Queens and elsewhere seeking
a unique and frighteningly fun haunt
experience. Th e indoor scare attraction
features a walk-through experience of
dark mazes and rooms that combine
light and sound with a talented cast
of more than 50 professional actors
dressed in full costume and makeup.
Th e Chamber’s Trilogy of Fear show
returns this year with all-new characters,
new scares and a few new surprises
to keep everyone scared out of their wits.
Fans can experience three scare attractions
including the classic horror of
Maniac Manor...the gore of Slaughter
House and the absolute terror that is
3,2,1 Blackout!
Plus, Chamber of Horrors has two
new and terrifyingly unique experiences
to get guests’ blood fl owing before they
enter the haunted house: Long Island’s
fi rst 5-minute virtual reality haunt tour
and a 3-minute escape room. Lastly, Kill
Th e Light show is held every Sunday in
October. Lights off as guests enter the
maze backwards in complete darkness
with only a glow stick to light their way!
For 17 years, Chamber of Horrors
has been one of the most popular
indoor haunt attractions in the region.
Chamber of Horrors Scare Chief Offi cer
Marty Arominski says haunted houses
have become one of the most popular
ways to celebrate and count down to
Halloween.
“Chamber of Horrors continues to
attract more and more visitors each
and every year. Attendance during our
last season reached over 8,000, and it’s
expected to total 10,000 or more in 2017.
We appreciate all of our fans who support
us, and that’s one of the reasons
why we change our attraction every
year,” said Arominski.
Th e Chamber of Horrors is open on
weekends through Monday, Oct. 31; it’s
located at 1746 Express Drive North.
