Richmond Hill’s day out at the Park Fair

Hundreds of Richmond Hill residents
enjoyed a beautiful late summer aft ernoon
of fun, games, entertainment and
more on Sept. 15 during the Richmond
Hill Block Association’s annual Park Fair.
Th e festivities took place inside Forest
Park near the Buddy Memorial, off
the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Park
Lane South, and along Myrtle Avenue
between Park Lane South and Freedom
Drive. Among the guests of honor were
members of the 102nd Precinct. Simcha
Waisman of the Richmond Hill Block
Association joined members of the civic
group in presenting Captain Courtney
Nilan, the precinct’s commander, with a
plaque and a street sign in appreciation
of her eff orts.
