The assault happened during a dispute between the suspect, identified by police as Marqual Ward, and his ex on a Manhattan-bound E train at about 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 24, cops said. As they were arguing somewhere between the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue stations the victim tried to walk away and Ward punched her several times in the face, causing substantial pain and bruising. At the time, the victim had her 2-month-old daughter strapped to her chest, according to police, who could not say if the Ward was the child’s father. Authorities have released a photo of Ward and describe him as black, 22 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes and long blonde dreadlocks. He has tattoos of a teardrop and red star on his face. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 104th Precinct Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village and Maspeth Police searching for suspect in Ridgewood gunpoint robberies The NYPD is looking for a man wanted in connection to two armed robberies in Ridgewood. The suspect — described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male — stopped a 58-year-old woman on Aug. 22 at the corner of 60th Lane and 67th Avenue around 5:30 a.m., police said. He displayed a gun and demanded her belongings, stealing the victim’s purse containing $50, a Samsung cellphone and other items. According to authorities, later that day, at about 11:55 p.m., the same man is suspected of robbing an 18-year-old man and woman who were sitting in front of a home on 60th Place near Linden Street. After displaying a gun, the suspect pocketed an iPhone and a black bag that belonged to the victims. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 107th Precinct Fresh Meadows, Cunningham Heights, Hilltop Village, Electchester and Pomonok Suspect wanted in forcible touching of teen at subway station Police are looking for a man who they say forcibly touched and exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl in Jamaica. The teen screamed and walked away but as she looked back she saw the suspect exposing himself and performing a lewd act, according to cops. The victim was not physically injured. Police describe the suspect as standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing between 130 and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt with a gray design on it, gray knee-length shorts, and a plain white baseball hat, and was carrying a backpack. Photo courtesy of NYPD Screenshot via NYPD A Rockville Centre man who was arrested last month for driving drunk and fleeing the scene of a car crash that left a St. Albans father and his two children dead, pleaded not guilty to aggravated vehicular manslaughter and 39 other charges, according to officials. Oniel Sharpe Jr. rear-ended the car of Ancio Ostane on the Southern State Parkway in Bay Shore on July 12. Ostane and his two children, Andy, 8, and Sephora, 4, were pronounced dead, while his wife Lucnie Bouaz- Ostane was treated and released at South Side Hospital. Sharpe, who fled the scene with the help of a friend, was originally charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of the accident. At his arraignment on Aug. 27, he was also charged with vehicular manslaughter, manslaughter, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, driving while intoxicated, tampering with physical evidence, following too closely, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane, failing to signal and failing to stay in his designated lane. If convicted of the top charge he will face up to 25 years in state prison, according to the Suffolk County district attorney’s office. Sharpe was also given 23 charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree after police found 23 fraudulent credit cards concealed in a pocket at the base of the steering wheel column of his BMW X-5 Sharpe. “This is the textbook example of a drunk driver who tries to evade responsibility for his actions and sober up before encountering the police. This driver didn’t resurface until four hours after he rear-ended this car and destroyed an innocent family,” said Suffolk County Executive Steve Ballone. “A driver convicted of that kind of behavior should face 15 years in prison upon conviction — eight more years behind bars than what today’s law provides.” Three others were also arraigned in connection to the crash and credit card fraud. Demetri Stewart, 23, of Cambria Heights drove Sharpe away from the scene and was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, hindering prosecution, criminal facilitation, making a sworn false statement and possession of marijuana. Sharpe’s cousin Courtney Sharpe, 24, of Springfield Gardens pleaded not guilty to two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and two counts of attempted identity theft in connection to the 23 fraudulent credit cards found in Oniel Sharpe’s car. Sheon Richards, 23, of St. Albans who attended a barbecue with Sharpe and was driving a BMW 328 sedan on the parkway recklessly, was charged with speeding, reckless driving, reckless endangerment and failure to maintain lane.
