NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task
Force looking for man
who assaulted three
straphangers in LIC
Detectives with the NYPD Hate
Crimes Task Force are investigating
an anti-gay bias incident
aboard a Queens-bound E train
late last month.
According to authorities, two
19-year-old men were riding
the subway around 3:30 a.m. on
Saturday, July 31, when they were
approached by a man who made
anti-gay statements before slugging
one of the men several times
in the face.
As the subway pulled into the
Court Square station in Long
Island City, the assailant then
punched the second man in the
face. When the train doors opened,
the two victims fl ed onto the platform,
according to the NYPD.
A 32-year-old woman attempted
to intervene on the station’s mezzanine
level and she was punched in
the face by the assailant, who then
fl ed on foot, police said. All three
victims suff ered pain and swelling
to their faces but refused medical
attention, according to authorities.
Investigators released images of
the man they want to talk to from
earlier in the evening as he stood
outside a bar in the Times Square
area, located at 795 Eighth Ave.
Th e suspect was
wearing a very distinctive
baseball
cap with a Nike
swoosh logo as well
as the iconic Rolling
Stones Hot Lips
logo. He appeared
to be agitated as he
stood alone at the
club’s velvet rope.
No arrests have
been made, and
the investigation is
ongoing.

Police searching for creep
who snapped lewd photos of
underage girls in Flushing
Police from the 109th Precinct are
searching for an unidentifi ed man in
connection with an “unlawful surveillance
pattern” investigation in
Flushing.
During the aft ernoon of July 29,
inside a Target store located at 40-42
College Point Blvd., the creep followed
two young girls into the women’s restroom.
A 12-year-old and a 3-yearold
entered a bathroom stall and the
man put his cellphone under the stall
to record and photograph the victims,
police said.
Th e girls exited the restroom and
alerted the women they were with as
the perpetrator fl ed the store on foot,
according to the NYPD.
Th e man returned to the same Target
store the following evening and followed
a 40-year-old woman who was
standing in an aisle. When she leaned
over to look at an item, the unidentifi ed
man put his cellphone under her skirt
to record and photograph her. Th e man
once again fl ed on foot, police said.
Th e NYPD released surveillance photos
and a video that shows the man
strutting through the Target store. He
is a light-skinned man with dark hair,
wearing a black mask, sleeveless shirts
and dark pants.
No arrests have been made, and the
investigation is ongoing.

Police search for a man for
allegedly fondling a woman at a
Queensbridge subway station
Police are looking for a man in connection to a sex abuse
incident that happened in Astoria late last month.
On the morning of Friday, July 30, the unidentifi ed
man approached a 47-year-old woman on the stairway
inside the 21st Street F train subway station near
the Queensbridge Houses. He then grabbed her rear end
before fl eeing the location on foot in an unknown direction,
police said.
Th e NYPD released a surveillance photo of the man that
was taken in the vicinity of the subway station.
No arrests have been made. Th e investigation is ongoing.
