Jermaine Lamarr Cole, better known by his stage name J. Cole, proved exactly why his fans love and admire his humble spirit. The successful rapper and producer, who went double-platinum on his hit album “Forest Hills Drive” in 2014, was casually riding public transportation earlier this week. “This man is as humble and down to earth as they come. He sold over one million records and has well over a million dollars in his bank. But he understands our struggle from which he came. The game hasn’t changed him,” Lucky fan @aaronya_ who met J. Cole on bus posted on Instagram. Known for his intellectual lyricism and powerful ability to relate to his fans, Cole didn’t end his local commute there. Another fan posted an Instagram photo with Cole, seen sporting a simple grey T-shirt and ripped shorts on Jamaica Avenue. “Day made … Thank you,” fan Amanda wrote on her Instagram post featuring the Grammy nominee. J. Cole is not only a rap artist, but an inspirational scholar who graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University with a major in communication and a minor in business. Cole had received an academic scholarship to the Jamaica-based college after moving from his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2003. Most of all, we are proud to say that J.
