The first caper occurred in Richmond Hill at 2:40 p.m. on May 8, when a 25-year-old woman was robbed by a knife-wielding male crook while riding a Jamaica Center-bound J train as it approached the 121st Street station. Authorities said the suspect displayed a knife and forcibly removed the victim’s cash and MetroCard; he then exited the train at the 121st Street stop and was last seen fleeing toward the station’s mezzanine. Two days later, four suspects robbed and assaulted an 18-year-old man on a Jamaica Center-bound J train as it approached the 111th Street station in Richmond Hill at about 1:50 a.m. on May 10, police said. The crooks — three men and one woman — reportedly displayed a knife, then punched the victim about the left side of the face, causing swelling. Law enforcement sources said the bandits took the victim’s iPhone 6 and a shopping bag containing a jacket, a Gucci belt and Air Jordan sneakers. The third incident occurred four minutes later at 1:54 a.m. on May 10 in Cypress Hills, when a male suspect assaulted and robbed a 47-year-old man of his iPhone on a Jamaica Center-bound J train approaching the Cleveland Street station. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 106th Precinct South central Queens Police looking for Ozone Park home invader Authorities continue to search for a man who invaded an Ozone Park home and assaulted a 46-year-old woman. Police said the incident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on March 13 at an undisclosed location in the neighborhood within the confines of the 106th Precinct. According to police, the woman was sitting on the ground floor of her residence when the perpetrator entered her home, grabbed her by the neck and arm, and demanded cash. The victim reportedly screamed, prompting her husband — who had been upstairs — to run down and help her. Police said the suspect then fled out of the home empty-handed in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 109th Precinct Flushing, Queensboro Hill, College Point, Malba, Whitestone, Beechhurst and Bay Terrace Three suspects wanted for shooting into Flushing lobby Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding three men wanted for firing shots into the crowded lobby of a Flushing housing development. The suspects pulled up in a black car to the Latimer Gardens housing complex on 137th Street at 3:10 p.m. on May 14 and fired three shots into the main lobby, according to authorities. Police believe the car is a two-door 2013 Hyundai Genesis with tinted windows. The three suspects, described as Asian males in their 20s, missed their intended target, according to police, and fled in the car. Though there were no reported injuries, several civilians, including schoolchildren, were standing in the direct vicinity of the shots fired, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 110th Precinct Corona and Elmhurst Reputed gang member arrested in murder on Roosevelt Avenue A reported gang member has been apprehended in the deadly shooting of a Corona man in Jackson Heights earlier this month, authorities said. Raul Zamora, a reputed member of the Sureños 13 gang, has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree gang assault and seconddegree criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 38-year-old Jorge Manzanarez, according to the district attorney’s office. Police identified Zamora, 33, who lives in Jackson Heights, just blocks from the crime scene, as the suspected shooter on May 11, arresting him five days later. According to officials, Zamora and two other unapprehended individuals got into an argument with Manzanarez at about 2:30 p.m. on May 5 on Roosevelt Avenue near 94th Street. Manzanarez was then shot once in the chest. Manzanarez was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Zamora, who faces 25 years to life in prison, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment on May 17. Screenshot via NYPD Photos courtesy of NYPD Photos courtesy of NYPD Photo courtesy of NYPD
