Duo assaults and robs
teen in Flushing: NYPD
Cops are looking for two suspects who
assaulted an 18-year-old man in Flushing
before stealing his iPhone on March 15.
Police said the two men approached the
teen from behind just before 6 a.m. at 136-
17 39th Ave. and hit him in the back of the
head with an unknown object. Th e crooks
then punched the teen in the face and
nabbed his iPhone 11 and a gold chain
before fl eeing southbound on Main Street,
according to authorities.
Th e teen sustained lacerations to the top
of his head, but refused medical attention
at the scene, cops said.

Cops searching for
creep who showed
porn to 16-year-old girl
on train in Astoria
Th e NYPD is looking for a man
who showed porn to a 16-year-old
girl while riding the train through
Astoria earlier this week.
On Monday, March 16, around
11:20 a.m., an unidentifi ed man
sat down next to a 16-year-old girl
on a Manhattan bound R train, according
to the NYPD. Th e man began to look
at pornographic material on his phone,
eventually turning the screen toward the
teen trying to get her to look at the images,
police say.
Th e girl confronted the man about his
actions, who proceeded to apologize and
get off the train at the 36th Street Station
in Astoria, according to authorities.
Th e man is believed to be between 25
to 35 years old, and stands between 5 feet
8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches. He was last
seen wearing a black coat with a fur-lined
hood, blue jeans and dark-colored shoes.
Police recovered video of the suspect as
part of their investigation.

Suspect jumps from second
story of Jamaica hotel after
failed robbery attempt: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for four people
wanted in connection with a robbery in
Jamaica last month.
On Monday, Feb. 24, around 6:20 p.m.,
four people entered Hotel Ninety Five,
located at 145-07 95th St., and knocked
on a hotel door, according to the NYPD.
Th ey then attempted to rob the 20-yearold
man who was occupying the room
they attempted to gain entry to, according
to police sources.
Unsuccessful in their attempted robbery,
the four individuals fl ed, one of
them jumping out of the building from
the second story, police say. Once outside,
they fl ed in a white Mercedes-Benz
sedan on 95th Avenue without any stolen
property.
Police obtained video of the individuals
from inside and outside the hotel as
part of the investigation.
Th e investigation is ongoing.
