The Cross Harbor Freight Program (CHFP) DEIS evaluates both near-term and long-term improvements to the regional freight network. Public Hearings provide an opportunity for the public and agencies to comment on and provide input on the DEIS. Due to severe weather conditions and anticipated travel disruptions, two public hearings that were originally scheduled for the week of January 26, 2015, are rescheduled. The FHWA and PANYNJ remain committed to a robust outreach and public participation process. The public comment period on the Draft DEIS has been extended and will remain open until 5 p.m. on March 20, 2015. Your comments are encouraged and may be provided orally or in writing at the public hearings, by mail to Cross Harbor Freight Program, c/o InGroup, Inc., PO Box 206, Midland Park, NJ 07432, or via email to feedback@crossharborstudy.com.
