OBITUARIES
KATHLEEN I. GADD died Friday, Dec. 11, at the
age of 99. She was the beloved mother of Louis John
Costa and mother-in-law of Valerie, the loving grandmother
of Jeffrey, Christina and Dana, and cherished
great-grandmother of Frank Andrew, Indiana Rose
and Arlo Anthony. A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, Dec. 15, followed
by interment at Queens of Peace Cemetery, Old
Westbury, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

JOHN GUTIERREZ died Monday, Dec. 7, at the age
of 70. He was the beloved husband of Marysabel, loving
father of Nicole and John Jr., dear brother of Milagros
Munoz, and cherished uncle of Rene. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of Queens
Martyrs Church on Friday, Dec. 11, followed by interment
at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

RICHARD PHILIP KLETT, of Glendale, died on
Saturday, Dec. 12, at the age of 62. A native of Brooklyn,
he was the beloved husband of Diane D’Andrea
Klett, devoted father of Jessica Ann Klett Zammito,
adoring father-in-law of Giovanni Alessandro Zammito,
dear brother of Marian Klett, and loving son
of Marian and Matthew Klett. Interment was held
in St. John Cemetery under the direction of Werst &
LaBella Funeral Home.
