OBITUARIES
JAIME PEREZ died on Tuesday,
November 19, at the age of 80. He was
the beloved hisband of Maria Perez,
loving father of Jaime Perez, Patricia,
Aide Columbia and Lucreci Maria
Perez and father-in-law of Dawn,
Robert and Michael, and the cherished
grandfather of Grace Maria,
Hope Pilar, Gabriel, Ethan and Isabela.
He is also survived by many loving
nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral
services were off ered at Papavero Funeral
Home on Monday, November 25,
followed by entombment at Pinelawn
Memorial Park, Farmingdale, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

SABATA “SAL” ZERO died on
Tuesday, November 19, at the age of
77. He was the cherished past-husband
of Maryanna Zero, the beloved father
of Joelle (Richard) Zero-Matuszewski
and Jessica (Anthony) D’Antonio,
the loving grandfather of Felicia,
Anthony and Maximilian, dearest
brother of Michael Zero and Joseph
Zero and brother-in-law of Valerie,
and the loving uncle of Nicole and
Jonathan. He was a former member
of Randy & the Rainbows. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may
be made to God’s Love We Deliver. A
Mass of Christian Burial was off ered
at St. Stanislaus Church on Friday,
November 22, followed by interment
at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

NIKKI AUXILIO died on Sunday,
November 17, at the age of 27. She was
the beloved daughter of Marivir and
the late Mario Auxilio, the cherished
granddaughter of Joy and Anastacio
Montebon, the loving niece of Jesurey,
JoAna and Joel, and a dear friend and
sister to many. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered at Ascension
Church on Saturday, November 23,
followed by cremation at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

JOSEPH ANGEL LÓPEZ, of Ridgewood,
died on Saturday, November
16, at the age of 56. A
native of New York,
he was the loving
son of Elizabeth and
Jose Angel López
and dear brother of
Marilisa, Aracelis,
Sonia and Jimmy Lopez. Services
were offered graveside, followed by
interment at Linden Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of San Jose Funeral
Home, 289 St. Nicholas Ave.,
Ridgewood.
