Woman pummels
commuter
Cops are looking for a woman
who attacked a fellow commuter
while changing trains in Jackson
Heights earlier this month.
According to police, at 3:15 p.m. on
Sept. 10, a 67-year-old woman was
inside the Roosevelt Avenue—Jackson
Heights subway station. As she
was changing trains, she got into a
dispute with an unknown woman.
The dispute escalated, and the
unknown woman proceeded to
punch the victim multiple times in
the face before fleeing the scene. At
this time, it is not immediately clear
what started the argument between
the suspect and the victim.
The victim sustained bruising
to her face as a result of the attack.
EMS responded to the location,
however the victim refused medical
attention at the scene.

Two injured in
Jax Hgts stabbing
Cops are investigating a stabbing
in Jackson Heights that left two
people injured early in the morning
of Monday, Sept. 23.
Police responded to a 911 call
regarding an assault in progress
at 78-14 Roosevelt Ave.at 4:01 a.m.
on Sept. 23. Upon their arrival, police
found a 20-year-old man with
multiple stab wounds to the torso
and a 26-year-old woman with stab
wounds to her back and chest.
Sources familiar with the investigation
said that the victims had
been injured in a larger fight at the
location.
EMS rushed both NYC Health
+ Hospitals/Elmhurst, where the
male victim is in critical condition.
The female victim is in stable
condition.
No arrests have been made at
this time and the investigation is
ongoing.
