Topos bookstore has a jar up front for any patrons to contribute whatever they want or can to the protest camp at Standing Rock, courtesy of Woodbine. Topos Bookstore is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on the weekdays, and from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on the weekends, has a nicely stacked selection of books, has no Wi-Fi, and serves coffee drinks to get those conversations started. With Spritzer celebrating their EP release and Milan To Minsk’s tour kickoff, Friday night at The Footlight is bound to be a solid night of rock music. If you haven’t seen a show at The Footlight yet, be prepared to experience some seriously excellent sound quality. Whether or not you’re an experienced painter, you’re invited to help workshop and lend your artistic eye to paintings at Woodbine from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. this Saturday.
