EDWARD KETCHAM died
Saturday, July 24, at the age of
74. He was the beloved husband
of Nancy Ketcham, devoted
dog dad of Halo, and cat dad
of Sox. Edward was the loving
son of the late Everitt and May
Ketcham, step father of Steven
and Joseph Tagliaferri, beloved
brother in law to Maureen
Camus and Joellen Rivinius,
and beloved uncle to Brittany
Smith, Melissa Camus, Amanda
Rivinius, and Michael Lindsey.
A visitation for Edward was
held Saturday, July 31, and Aug.
1. A funeral service occured
Monday, Aug. 2 at St. Matthias
R.C. Church in Ridgewood, followed
at St. John Cemetery. Fond

July 26 at the age of 90. She was
the beloved wife of the late Henry
Simcox, and loving mother of
Mary Simcox, Eileen Cunniff ,
and Kathleen (Thomas) Mozdziak.
She was the cherished

and Emily, and dearest sister of
Joanne Baly. She is also survived
by many loving nieces, nephews

Cox was a United States Army
Veteran and a member of the
Cardinal Spellman Knights of
Columbus Council for 40 years.

Cemetery, under the direction

July 17, at the age of 88. He
was the beloved husband of
the late Joan Mello, and loving
father of Donna Oliver and
Robert Mello. He was the dear
brother of Carol Slattery and
the late Roy Etzel, cherished
grandfather, adored uncle and
great uncle. Mr. Mello was a
United States Army Veteran
who served during the Korean
Conflict and a retired MTA
Supervisor. A memorial visitation
will be held at Papavero
Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug.
8 from 2 to 6 p.m. A funeral
service will be held on Monday,
Aug. 9 at 10 a.m, with interment
to follow at St. John Cemetery
in Middle Village, under the
