She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Pirotta and loving mother of Raymond Pirotta and the late Marlene and Kathleen. She was the cherished grandmother of Jason and Elizabeth and great-grandmother of Mary Wallace and Sarah Marshall. Private funeral services were held Thursday, June 18 followed by a private cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village and entombment of cremated remains at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth. +++ WALTER AVILA died Sunday, June 14, at the age of 48. He was the cherished son of Carmen and the late Abdon Avila, loving brother of Abdon Avila and Stanley Avila and is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
