Police released on May 31 images of two men wanted for a series of business burglaries in Ridgewood, during which they damaged ATM devices and stole thousands of dollars in cash. According to authorities, the most recent incident occurred between 11:55 p.m. on April 27 and early the next morning, when the crooks broke into a store located at 853 Wycko Ave. (between Cornelia Street and Je erson Street). ey proceeded to breach the ATM and removed approximately $15,760 in cash. Following an investigation, the NYPD linked the suspects to four similar burglaries earlier this year, including a grocery store at 466 Woodward Ave. at 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 27; a restaurant at 803 Cypress Ave. at 3 a.m. on March 23; a business at 2042 Grove St. between 8 p.m. on April 10 and 7 a.m. the next morning; and a grocery store at 62-86 60th Place between 11 p.m. on April 18 and 6:05 a.m. the next morning. All told, the suspects got away with more than $50,000 in stolen ATM cash in the pattern. e 104th Precinct responded to each incident.
