In Loving Memory of Hedy Rauch
Passed away on May 18, 2020, Age 80
Hedy (Barbitsch) Rauch was born in Graflinden, Gottschee
(Yugoslavia) in 1940 and immigrated to the United States
at a young age, along with her parents Josef and Pauline
(Loretitsch), and older brother Josef. She made a life and
raised her family in NYC. Hedy enjoyed spending time with
her family in New York and in Canada, travelling there
many times over the years, and took great joy in cooking
traditional dishes for her family. Hedy passed away on

Covid-19. Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service
is not possible. A private cremation was held and will be
followed by a private family graveside internment in
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
We miss and love you – you are in our hearts forever!!!

granddaughter Amelia; and is also survived by many loving
nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
