He was 91 years old. Charles was the youngest of three sons born to Guiseppe (Joseph) Salvia and Maria Vitale Salvia. His siblings, Dominick Salvia and Raymond Salvia, all predeceased him. Born May 23, 1923, Charles was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn who graduated with honors from Brooklyn Technical High School, class of 1940. Charles served as a bombardier and instructor in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. After the war, Charles worked for the NYC Transit Authority as a shops and cars supervisor until his retirement. Charles was a loving uncle to Joseph Salvia, Mary Salvia Marrone, Stephen Salvia and Catherine Salvia Dardani, all of whom survive him, along with many adored great nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Seneca Chapels, 494 Seneca Ave., Ridgewood. +++ ANA LUKA died on Friday, April 17, at the age of 66. A native of Vladimirovac, Yugoslavia, she was the beloved wife of Sinisa and devoted mother of Sinka Luka and Susan Luka. She is also survived by one grandchild. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by Rev. Viorel Dimitrescu, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood. +++ LILLIAN DOROTHY STOLLER was born on April 20, 1923, in Ridgewood and died on Saturday, April 11, in The Villages, Fla. Her parents were Lillie and Jacob Drescher. Lillian graduated with honors from Ridgewood’s Grover Cleveland High School, married the late John Stoller and worked at New York Life Insurance Company. Lillian was a devoted mother who faithfully guided a close and happy family. She was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Glendale. She is survived by three sons, Robert, John and Gary; their wives, Judy, Margie and Terry; seven grandchildren, Sara, Lisa, Renee, Kelly, David, Kristin and Ben, and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 88-24 Myrtle Ave., Glendale, N.Y., 11385.
