for Thursday night trivia. The
questions will begin at 8 p.m. and it’s
free to compete. NYC Trivia League
is the largest in New York with over
65 locations. The top three teams will
receive prizes, ranging from a $50 gift
card to a pitcher of beer.

Friday, April 19, marks the beginning
of Passover, a Jewish holiday that
celebrates the liberation of the Israelites
from slavery over 3,000 years ago. In
New York City, there are over 1.1 million
Jewish residents, making up 13 percent
of the overall population. Each spring,
the weeklong commemoration occurs
around the globe. The holiday is widely
recognized in Queens as well. Rego Park
Jewish Center will be having a Passover
Seder on Conducted by Rabbi Romiel

The Paint Place in Astoria has a night
of family painting. You do not need

Looking for a spring program that

exercising? Look no further. The City
Parks Foundation has a 2019 spring
sports program for young people in
all fi ve boroughs. Children ages eight
to 14 have the chance to learn the basics
of a variety of sports. These include
hurdles, relay races, long jump, shot
put and javelin throw. The program
meets once a week and ends on June

Queens County Farm will have its infamous egg hunt on Saturday. The event
will feature a meet and greet with Whiskers the Bunny, egg tossing and egg
