WWW.QNS.COM RIDGEWOOD TIMES MARCH 23, 2017 11 Community Health Care Provider Expands As a part of an ongoing plan to expand and improve medical services to the Ridgewood community, DocCare®, a community-based healthcare provider that has served the area for over 20 years, has opened a new office located at 66-86 Fresh Pond Road. This new office, which has been under construction for over a year, is a 5000 square foot facility and will offer numerous specialty medical services. DocCare® is now ready to meet the continued medical needs of its loyal patients with state of the art diagnostic equipment and its friendly medical providers that are so well regarded in the community. The new office contains 18 exam rooms and is designed and operated to significantly reduce patient wait times. The DocCare® office at 66-55 Fresh Pond Road, which has served as your Primary Care medical home for many years, will now have extended hours with extended provider coverage. As in the past, we accept walk-in patients (no appointment needed) for same day care needs. The DocCare® primary care providers offer Adult, Pediatric, and URGENT CARE SERVICES. We will continue to serve your ongoing medical needs, including diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, as well as well baby care and immunizations. Additionally, we have established extended hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM to accommodate urgent care needs. DocCare® is in the process of becoming a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) responsible for meeting your health care needs, including prevention, wellness, acute care, and chronic care. We coordinate all of your care needs at one health center.
