JENNIE TIMPONE died Friday, February 28, at the age of
87. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Timpone,
loving mother of Rose Ann Waters, Patrice Barbara and Anthony
Timpone, and cherished grandmother of Michael, Ryan,
Amanda and Tyler. She is also survived by many loving nieces,
nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered
at Our Lady of Hope Church on Wednesday, March 4, followed
by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

KATHLEEN M. CONROY died Thursday, February 27 at
the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. “Jack”
Conroy, loving mother of Colleen, John T, Timothy and Patricia
and Mother-in-Law of Jane, Carol and Brian, the cherished
grandmother of Johnny and Colleen, Matthew, Katie Rose,
Brian, Timothy, Jack Christopher, Benjamin and Angela, and
soon-to-be great grandmother. She was the dear sister of
Helen Nicastro, Mary Hellmann, Joan Christman and the late
Thomas McCarthy and is also survived by many loving nieces,
nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
may be made to Lil Bravest Foundation. A Mass of Christian
Burial was held Monday, March 2, followed by cremation at
Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the direction of
Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

MARION MARTINI died Wednesday, February 26, at the
age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Elio M. Martini,
loving mother of Lisa, Christine and Robbie and mother-in-law
of Viana and cherished grandmother of Daniel, Marcella and
Elio. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, March
2, at Resurrection-Ascension Church, followed by interment at
Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

GLORIA CHIN-SHUE BAEZ died Sunday, March 1 at the age of
72. She was the beloved wife of Michael A. Baez, loving mother
of Elaine Baez-Hoff man and Mario Hernandez and dear sister
of many brothers and sisters. She is also survived by her loving
extended family, a huge church family and several friends
around the globe. She was a beacon of strength and service in
her Christian community, an inspiration and a smiling face with
a joyful laugh that will be thoroughly missed, but never forgotten.
Funeral Services will be held at Papavero Funeral Home
Thursday, March 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Final
visitation will be held Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m., followed by
interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

JOAN W. SCHWARZ died Monday, March 2, at the age of
87. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick J. Schwarz
and loving mother of Elizabeth (Thomas) Hayden, Frederick
(Lucy) Schwarz, Mary (Gavin) Giunta and Joan (Christopher)
Quercia. She was the cherished grandmother of John, Tara,
Joseph, Kathleen, James, Stephen, Stephanie, Nicholas and
Elizabeth and dear sister of Jane Muller and is also survived
by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association
or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be offered at Ascension Church on Thursday,
March 5, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Calverton National
Cemetery, Calverton, under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

HELEN E. FLACK, formerly
of Maspeth died Thursday,
February 27, at the age of 89.
The daughter of the late Albert
and Anna (Kikel) Ostermann,
she was predeceased by her
husband, Henry Anthony
Flack, and two brothers, Albert
and Walter Ostermann. She is
survived by one daughter and
son-in-law, Deborah A. and
Howard Pinchuk of Hawley, PA.
She retired as a manager for
Mount Sinai Hospital in 1995
and was a member of American
Legion Ladies Auxiliary. A
Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated Thursday, March
5, at 10 a.m., at BVM Queen Of
Peace Roman Catholic Church,
314 Chestnut Ave., by Rev. Richard
W. Beck, Pastor, followed
by interment at Green Gates
Cemetery, Hawley.

RUTH GREBINGER, of Glendale, died Monday, March 2 at
the age of 89. A native of Queens, she was the beloved wife
of Roland Grebinger, devoted mother of Richard Grebinger,
loving daughter of the late Herman and Bertha Jakobs and is
also survived by two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services were offered at Glendale Maspeth United Methodist
Church, followed by interment at Nassau Knolls Cemetery,
Port Washington, under the direction of Werst and Labella
Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.
