One hospitalized
after car catches
fi re in Maspeth
A person was sent to the hospital
aft er a car burst into fl ames in
Maspeth on Feb. 25.
The fi re department fi rst got a call
about the car fi re near 60th Avenue
and Mt Olivet Crescent around 7:30
a.m., according to the FDNY.
Firefi ghters arrived and quickly put
out the burning car, according to the
authorities.
The driver of the car was transported
to Cornell Hospital. The severity of
their injuries is currently unknown.
