 OBITUARIES 
 MARILYN GNOLFO died Tuesday. Feb. 16, at the age of 68. She was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Ida Gnolfo,  
 a loving sister, dear cousin and friend. A Mass of Christian Burial was off  ered Wednesday, Feb. 24, at St. Adalbert’s Church,  
 followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

 TIFFANY PIZZULLI died Saturday, Feb. 13, at the age of 27. She was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Jacqueline, loving  
 sister of Daniel, Joseph. Paulie and Victoria, cherished granddaughter of Patricia Pizzulli, and dear aunt of Brianna. A Mass  
 of Christian Burial was off  ered at St. Stanislaus Church on Tuesday, Feb. 23, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery,  
 under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

 ORLANDO OCHOA died Saturday. Feb. 13, at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Martha I. Ochoa, loving father  
 of Monica (Christian) Echeverria and Robert (Rocio) Ochoa, cherished grandfather of Joeseph, Justin and Darren, and a dear  
 brother and uncle. Private cremation was held Saturday, Feb. 20, at All Souls Crematory. A memorial service was held at  
 Papavero Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 23, followed by entombment of cremated remains at Lutheran All-Faits Cemetery,  
 under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

 ANTHONY GEGELYS died Sunday,. Jan. 24, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of Ernestina Fajardo Gegelys and  
 a loving brother and cherished uncle. He was a United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam era. Provate  
 cremation was held Saturday, Jan. 30, at Fresh Pond Crematory. A memorial service was held Sunday, Feb. 21, at Papavero  
 Funeral home, followed by interment of cremated remains at Calverton National Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero  
 Funeral Home, Maspeth.

 MARY GAGLIARDI died Monday, Feb. 15, at the age of 100. She was the beloved wife of the later Peter Gagliardi, loving  
 mother of Ronald and Suzie Gagliardi and Pino and Rosemarie Signora, cherished granfmother of Brenda and Brian, Michael  
 and Nicole, Joseph and Stef, Briand and Caroline, Lauren and Matt and Kristin and Alex, and great-grandmother of Peter,  
 Maeve, Mairead, Nicholas Sofi  a, Hope, Nolan, William, Patrick, Thomas, James, Joseph and Graham. She is also survived by  
 many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was off  ered at Ascension Church on Monday. Feb. 22, followed  
 by entombment at St. John Cemetery Cloister, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.  
 Ruth Roemer of Ridgefield, Connecticut and formerly of  
 Ridgewood, New York, passed away peacefully on  
 February 17, 2021. She was 88 years old. A native of  
 Germany, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1956. 
 Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40  
 years, Karl Roemer. She is survived by her beloved  
 children, daughter Gisele and son Ronald (Stefanie).  
 She is the loving Oma to grandchildren Thomas (Genna),  
 John and Emily. 
 Private services were offered at  
 Kane Funeral Home, followed by cremation.
