over 40 years, passed away quietly on
February 7th, 2021 at St. Joseph's
Hospital following a long illness. Born in
Bakonypoloske, Hungary to Josef and
Cecilia Hidi Gazdag, he spent his early
years in Papa, Hungary prior to
emigrating to the United States at the
height of the Hungarian Revolution.

Kliegl Brothers Universal Stage Lighting
Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed
watching hockey, reading history books
and working on home improvement
projects. He performed these activities,
he often said, "like it was going out of
style," and that was how he lived his life.

years, Gabriella, Jenoe is survived by his
loving daughter Linda, son-in law Russell
Borrelli and grandchildren Connor and

JOHN SEIER, JR., age 57,
passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Jan. 28,
2021, after a long battle with illness. Born in Ridgewood on July
3, 1963, he was a proud member of the Fire Police at the Wantagh
Fire Department since 2004. He was always one of the first
to respond and offer his assistance for any task. A devoted
husband and proud father, John also worked tirelessly in the
Hospitality/Property Service Industry as a member of Local 32BJ
in Manhattan for approximately 20 years to provide for his
family. In his time off, he and his family enjoyed the country in
their cabin in upstate New York. John is survived by his wife,
Christine; parents John Sr. and Rita; sons Josef, Thomas and
Nicholas; his sister Janet Szotak and her husband Thomas.
Additionally, he will be greatly missed and always remembered
by his many friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and
nieces. Until we meet again. Rest in peace.
