FEORO ‘LEFTY’ GANGI died Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the age of 100. He
was the beloved husband of the late Angelina Gangi, loving father of Donald
(Diane) Gangi, Maryanne (Billy) McClinchey, Patricia Fucci, Micahel
(Karen) Gangi and Linda (John) Baker, and cherished grandgather of 11
grandchildren and great-grandfather of 13 great-grandchildren. He was a
U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered Tuesday, Feb. 8, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed
by interment at St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

RALPH JULIANO died Thursday Feb. 3, at the age of 93. He was the
beloved husband of the late Connie Juliano, loving father of Ralph Juliano
and father-in-law of Jean, cherished grandfather of Jillian & Tom, Krista &
Larry and Brittany, and great-grandfather of Lorelai, Cora, Thoms, Noah,
Oliver, Leah and Logan. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during
the Korean Confl ict. A Mass of Christian Burial was off ered at Our Lady of
Hope Church on Tuesday, Feb. 8, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

PATRICIA ANN PILEWSKI died Thursday, Feb. 3, at the age of 91. She
was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Pilewski, loving mother of Ronnie
(Kenny) Binick, Martha (John) Ward, Anthony (Denise) Pilewski, Patricia
(George) Georgiadia, Elaine (Ben) Gerace and Joan (Bob) Templin, cherished
nana of Kenny, Kristopher, Kraig, Danielle, kelly, Christina, Georgie, Benjamin,
Alyssa and Baby and great-nana of Livia, Leo, Zachary, Bradley, David,
Jack, Brady, Nicky and Franco, and dear sister of Annabelle Hartmann
and the late Gabriel Darragh, Marie Sheehan, Peggy Meyer, Martha Russell,
Flora Ruszkowski, Joseph Darragh and Archie Darragh, She is also
survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was off ered at St. Stanislaus Church on Monday,
Feb. 7, followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

JAMES R. DENGATE died Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the age of 77. He was the beloved
husband of Joann Dengate, loving father of Raymond (Joan) Dengate,
Joseph (Erica) Dengate and James (Debra) Dengate, cherished grandfather of
Samantha, Sinclair, Hailey, Andrew, Ryan and Hayden, and a dear brother
and uncle. He was a retired NYPD civilian employee and U.S. Navy veteran
who served during the Vietnam era. In lieu of fl owers, memorial donaitons
may be made to Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered at Our Lady of Hope Church on Sunday, Feb. 6, followed
by interment at Calvary Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

JAMES J. ORSINO died Monday, Jan. 31, at the age of 76. He was the beloved
husband of the late Lena Orsino, loving father of James Orsino and
father-in-law of Mia, cherished grandfather of Eric and EllaJohn Orsino,
and dear brother of John Orsino. Private cremation was held at All Souls
Crematory and memorial visitation was held at Papavero Funeral Home
on Wednesday, Feb. 9.

WILHELMINA BRUMMEL died on Dec. 19, 2021, at the age of 94. She was
born April 9, 1924, to Edward A. Brummel and Wilhelmine Bauer Brummel.
Wilhelmina had a long, distinguished career with Chemical Bank/
Manufacturers Hanover Bank in Manhattan. At home, she loved and cared
for her mother and aunt. She was active in Covenant Lutheran Church and
volunteered with the “Friends of Ridgewood Library” group. She spent the
last fi ve years with Friends in Arizona enjoying the sun. Services were
off ered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels by Rev. Michael Ross,
followed by interment in Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery, under the direction
of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels.

MARY ‘PATTI’ MONACO died Monday, Feb. 7, at the age of 71. She was
the beloved wife of the late John R. Monaco, loving mother of Ashley Marie
Monaco and a dear sister. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews
and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled to be off ered at
St. Cecilia’s Church on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m., followed by interment at
St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

Joseph Ragus, Sr., 67, of Hatfield, passed away Tuesday,
January 25, 2022. He was the cherished husband of Laura
Ragus of Hatfield. Born April 24, 1954 in Croatia, he was the
son of the late Lazar and Anka Ragus. Joseph, originally
from Ridgewood, NY, was the owner of JARS video. He was a
movie enthusiast and collected comics since 1962. In
addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his children,
LoriAnn Spallina (Lenny), Joseph Ragus, Jr. (Terri),
Jonathan Ragus (Alicia), and nine grandsons. For those
desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the
Shriners Children's Hospital, 3551 N. Broad Street,
Philadelphia, PA 19140. Funeral services are private and
under the direction of Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home,
