OBITUARIES
SHIRLEY ROHRBACH, of Maspeth, died
on Friday, January 3, at the age of 66. A native
of Brooklyn, she was the loving daughter of
Edgar Rohrbach and Annelore Rohrbach,
and dear sister of Jennifer Rohrbach, Diane
Rohrbach and Linda Bredow. Services were
off ered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels by Rev. Michael J. Ciotta, followed by
cremation in Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle
Village, under the direction of Morton Funeral
Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood.

ELOISA D. URENA, of Brooklyn, died on
Friday, January 3, at the age of 94. A native of
San Jose De Las Matas, Dominican Republic,
she was the beloved wife of the late Emilio
Galvan, the devoted mother of Juan Galvan,
Jacinto Galvan, Jose Francisco Galvan, Jose Rafael
Galvan, Manuel Galvan, Ramon Galvan,
Ana Lucia Galvan, and Marina Antonia Galvan.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren. Services were
off ered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, followed by interment at Linden Hill
Cemetery, Ridgewood, under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels,
663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

BERNARD LASKY, of Jamaica, died on
Saturday, January 4, at the age of 85. He was
a native of Brooklyn. Services were off ered at
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels,
followed by cremation in Fresh Pond Crematory,

Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels,

ALBERT EDWARD PAGE, of Glendale,
died on Monday, January 6, at the age of 93. He
was the beloved husband of the late Dolores
Page, devoted father to Joan Deal, Dolores Coli
and Karen Colombo, and loving son of the late
John and Marie Page. He is also survived by
11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial was off ered at St.
Pancras R.C. Church, followed by interment
at St. John’s Cemetery under the direction of
Werst & LaBella Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper
Ave, Glendale.

THERESA COSENZO died on Friday,
January 10, at the age of 94. She was the beloved
wife of the late Bennie Cosenzo, loving
mother of John Cosenzo and a cherished
grandmother. Private cremation was held
Saturday, January 11, at Fresh Pond Crematory,
Middle Village, followed by interment
at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral home, 72-27
Grand Ave., Maspeth.

FRANK PULIZZI, of Glendale, died on
Friday, January 10, at the age of 80. A native
of Turin, Italy, he was the beloved husband of
Lucy Pulizzi, devoted father of Peter Pulizzi,
Guy Pulizzi, John Pulizzi, Erminio Pulizzi,
and Paula Pulizzi, and dear brother of John
Pulizzi. He is also survived by six grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren and was
a jack of all trades and an artist. He worked for
NYC Transit for 21 years. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered at St. Pancras R.C. Church,
followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery
under the direction of Werst & LaBella Funeral
Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave, Glendale.

ROSANNE MONTEBELLO died on Sunday,
January 12, at the age of 62. She was the
beloved mother of Joseph Montebello and
the late Matthew Montebello and loving
grandmother of Alyssa. She is also survived
by many loving cousins and friends. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be offered at St.
Mary’s Church on Friday, January 17, at 9:30
a.m., followed by interment at Maple Grove
Cemetery, Kew Gardens, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth.

LORRAINE F. SULLIVAN died on Monday,
January 13, at the age of 76. She was the
beloved wife of the late Timothy V. Sullivan,
Sr., loving mother of Genevieve Fricano and
Timoth V. Sullivan, Jr., and mother-in-law of
Robert and Lisa, cherished grandmother of
Rebecca, Erica, Alyssa, Emily and Tyler, and
dear sister of Gail Barnabas, Barbara Casali,
James Myer, and the late Austin Myer. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be off ered at St.
Mary’s Church on Saturday, January 18, at
9:30 a.m., followed by interment at St. John’s
Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.
