OBITUARIES
PAMELA DONADIO, of Glendale, died Thursday, Jan. 6,
at the age of 79. She was the beloved wife of the late John A.
Donadio, devoted mother of John Donadio and sister-in-law
of Patricia Callahan. Interment was in Calverton National
Cemetery under the direction of Werst & LaBella Funeral
Home, Glendale.

RAMON L. TORRES JR. died Friday, Dec. 24, at the age of 71.
He was the beloved husband of Elissa Torres, and loving father
of Vanessa, Yvonne and Ahiezer. A funeral service was held
at Papavero Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 12, followed by
entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

FRANCISCO CORDOVA died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the age
of 64. He was the beloved husband of the late Lilly Jane Cordova,
loving father of Fernando Bonilla III and Angelica Jane
Cordova, and cherished grandfather of Augustus. A private
cremation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at All Souls Crematory,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

MARIA P. RUIZ died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the age of 91. She
was the beloved wife of the late Cesar Ruiz, loving mother of
Maria C. Kabath and mother-in-law of Bruce, dear sister of
Clara Aquino, cherished aunt of Hose Aquino and Julia Alvarez.
She is also survived by many loving great nieces and
great nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may
be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of Fatima Church
on Jan. 11, with a private cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory,
followed by entombment of cremains at U.S. Columbarium
in Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

LOUIS W. FERENTINO died Monday, Jan. 3, at the age of
65. He was the beloved father of Christopher L. Ferentino and
Laura Belluomo and father-in-law of Stephanie and Mario;
cherished grandfather of Alessandra; dear brother of Linda
Foley and loving companion of Mary Sarinopoulos. He was
the former proprietor of Grandview Landscaping in Middle
Village. A mass of christian burial was offered at Our Lady of
Hope Church on Jan. 6, followed by an interment at Calvary
Cemetery in Woodside, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

LILLIAN D. GALLWAY died Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the age of 93.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph Gallway; loving mother of
Susan, Ray, Gail and the late Bonnie; cherished grandmother
of 44 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 23 greatgrandchildren.
