Cops search for two suspects
in connection with break-ins
at southern Queens homes
Police from the 102nd Precinct in
Richmond Hill are looking for two suspects
that broke into a Woodhaven
home and stole electronics.
Police say that at around 7:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, Dec. 7, the two men gained
entry to a residence in the vicinity of
80th Street and 88th Avenue by pushing
in an air conditioner. Once inside, the
suspects removed seven laptops from
the home and fl ed, police said.
Investigators believe the two men also
struck twice in the early hours of Sunday,
Nov. 14, trying to break into an Ozone
Park home at
around 5:45

pry open a
window with
their hands
but gave up
and fl ed empt
y - h anded,
police said.

15 minutes
later, the two
men entered
another home
on the same
block by opening
a window. Th e suspects removed
about $200 in cash and the victim’s car
keys before leaving, police said. Th ey
then used the keys to enter the victim’s
Honda Fit and took off . Th e vehicle was
later recovered within the confi nes of the
75th Precinct in Brooklyn, according to
authorities.
Th e NYPD released surveillance video
of the two suspects. One suspect was
seen wearing a dark jacket with a furlined
hood with dark pants and sneakers,
and the other was seen wearing a
light-colored hooded jacket and lightcolored
sweatpants.

Pair sought for Queens
shopping mall shooting
that left three injured
Th e NYPD on Dec. 19 released
images of two individuals sought for
a Queens shopping mall shooting on
Saturday aft ernoon, Dec. 18, that left
three people injured.
Law enforcement sources said the gunfi
re erupted at about 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 18
in the parking lot of the Rochdale Village
Shopping Center at 165-02 Baisley Blvd.
According to authorities, the three victims
sat inside of a parked vehicle when
the two suspects approached. One of the
pair of perpetrators then pulled out a
fi rearm and began blasting at the vehicle.
In the hail of bullets, cops said, a
29-year-old man was shot in the head,
while two other men in the vehicle —
ages 29 and 31 — took bullets to their
backs.
Following the gunfi re, police reported,
the two suspects fl ed inside a red
2012 Ford Focus, heading toward Guy
R. Brewer Boulevard, with the New York
license plate KRM9614.
Offi cers from the 113th Precinct and
EMS units responded to the shooting.
Paramedics rushed the three victims to
Jamaica Hospital, where they were listed
in stable condition.
City Council member Adrienne
Adams, who represents the area and is
reportedly slated to become the chamber’s
next speaker, said she’s been in contact
with police about the shooting.
“My prayers go out to the three individuals
who were shot in an incident today,”
Adams said in a Dec. 18 statement. “Life
Camp and King of Kings Foundation
are on the scene working with the community,
and I thank them for their swift
response alongside the NYPD. Th is
underscores that gun violence is still very
prevalent in our city — literally hitting
close to home in this case.”
As shown on camera, one of the suspects
wore a black, fur-lined jacket, a
light-blue surgical mask, black pants and
black sneakers, while the other perpetrator
wore a black jacket, a black face
mask, black pants and white high-top
sneakers.

Police search for a
gunman who robbed the
Sikh Center Flushing,
threatened bystander
Police from the 109th Precinct
in Flushing are looking for a gunwielding
man who allegedly robbed a
house of worship and threatened a man
who challenged him.
Just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec.
14, the suspect entered the Sikh Center
Flushing at 38-17 Parsons Blvd. and took
$50 from the altar before leaving the
building, according to the NYPD.
A 57-year-old man confronted the man
and a verbal altercation ensued leading
to the man brandishing a black handgun,
before fl eeing northbound on Parsons
Boulevard, police said.
Th e NYPD released video surveillance
of the suspect entering the center and later
leaving and pulling out the weapon during
the argument. Police described him
as an adult with a light complexion with
a medium build, weighing around 180
pounds and approximately 5’9” tall with
short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing black sweatpants,
a gray hooded sweatshirt with a
black stripe down the arms, white sneakers
and a yellow bandana on his head.
No arrests have been made. Th e investigation
is ongoing.
