Cops looking for teen who
fondled women riding Hillside
Avenue buses in Jamaica
Police from the 107th Precinct in
Fresh Meadows are on the lookout for
a teenager who allegedly fondled two
women riding buses last week along
Hillside Avenue in Jamaica.
Th e fi rst incident of “forcible touching”
occurred between 7:30 and 8:15
a.m. on board a Q65 MTA bus at 164th
Street and Hillside Avenue when the
young man approached a 26-year-old
woman and proceeded to press his groin
against her rear end.
Th e suspect then exited the bus at
164th Street and 82nd Road. No injuries
were reported as a result of the incident,
police said.
Within the next hour, the assailant
returned to 164th Street and Hillside
Avenue and boarded another Q65 MTA
bus. Th e teenager allegedly approached a
14-year-old girl and proceeded to press
his groin against her rear end, as well
as grab her rear end over her clothing,
police said.
Th e suspect got off the bus and fl ed in
an unknown direction, according to the
NYPD. No injuries were reported as a
result of the second incident.
Th e NYPD released surveillance images
of the young man and described him
as a 17- to 18-year-old man with a dark
complexion and black hair. He was last
seen wearing a white jacket, dark-colored
pants, white sneakers and a blue
surgical mask.

NYPD searching for gunman
who opened fi re in Astoria
Police from the 114th Precinct
in Astoria are on the lookout
for a gunman who fi red several
shots into the air last week.
Police say that at just before 6
a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, in front
of Wicho Corps Auto Repair,
located at 20-02 29th St. across
from the Con Edison-Astoria
Yard, the suspect pulled out a
handgun and fi red off several
rounds before fl eeing in a black
BMW 6 series.
Th ere were no reported injuries
as a result of the shooting
incident.
Th e gunman was caught on
a surveillance camera as he left
a residential building at 20-14
29th St., and another camera
captured images of him fi ve
minutes later as he opened fi re.
Police describe the shooter as
an adult man with a medium
complexion. He was last seen
wearing a dark-colored hoodie
with tan boots and a blue and
white New York Yankees baseball
cap.
No arrests have been made.
Th e investigation is ongoing.

Cops looking for two men who
mugged a man in Corona
Police from the 110th Precinct in
Elmhurst are looking for a cyclist and his
partner in connection with a mugging
incident in Corona earlier this month.
A 35-year-old man was walking in the
vicinity of Junction Boulevard and 41st
Avenue just before 6 a.m. on Th ursday,
Nov. 4, when the two suspects approached
him from behind and forcibly grabbed
him, police said.
Th e muggers removed the victim’s
Samsung cellphone and his wallet which
contained one debit card and other items.
Th e assailants fl ed westbound on 41st
Avenue.
Th e victim wasn’t injured and police
believe he was targeted aft er he was seen
leaving a check-cashing business shortly
before he was jumped by the suspects.
Th e NYPD released surveillance images
of the two suspects. Th e cyclist was wearing
an orange hooded sweatshirt, gray
sweatpants and white sneakers while the
second man was last seen wearing a gray
jacket, dark-colored pants and light-colored
sneakers.
