Cops seek man who broke
into four homes in Astoria
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
broke into four homes in Astoria between
mid-October and early November.
On Friday, Oct. 16, around 5:30
a.m., an unidentifi ed man broke into a
36-year-old woman’s home, in the vicinity
of Ditmars Boulevard and Crescent
Street, by sneaking through her bedroom
window, according to the NYPD.
Th e woman, who was asleep, woke
up when she heard a noise and yelled
when she spotted the intruder, cops
said. Th e man then ran from the home
without taking anything, northbound on
Crescent Street.
Sometime between Oct. 19 and Oct.
21, the man broke into a 29-yearold
woman’s apartment near Ditmars
Boulevard and 35th Street, according to
the police. Once inside, the thief took a
watch and an Apple iPad, cops said.
A little over a week later, sometime
between Nov. 2 and Nov. 3, the man
snuck through the rear window of a
32-year-old man’s apartment near 41st
Street and 23rd Avenue, according to
the authorities. Th e man made off with
two watches and approximately $6,000
in cash.
Soon aft er, on Nov. 3, sometime
between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., the man
used a rear window to gain access to
an 87-year-old woman’s apartment
near 38th Street and 21st Avenue. Once
inside, the man took a bracelet, four
rings and around $2,000 in cash, cops
said.Th
e suspect is described by police as
being a light-skinned man with glasses.
During his capers, the man wore a baseball
hat, a hooded sweater and dark-colored
pants.
No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing.

Cops seek man behind robbery
of Fresh Meadows animal clinic
Th e NYPD is looking for a man that
robbed an animal clinic in Fresh Meadows
last month.
On Friday, Oct. 30, around 5 a.m.,
an unidentifi ed man broke into Fresh
Meadows Animal Clinic, located at 192-
09 Union Tpke., by forcing open the back
door, according to the NYPD.
Once inside, the man took $100 in cash
and then fl ed in an unknown direction,
cops said.
Th e suspect was last seen wearing a
mask, a baseball hat and dark-colored
clothing. He carried a red umbrella with
him.
No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing.

Robber brutally stabs
victim during struggle
on Briarwood street
Cops need the public’s help in fi nding
the crook who brutally stabbed
a 50-year-old man during a robbery
attempt in Briarwood early in the
morning of Saturday, Nov. 14.
Th e NYPD released on Sunday
morning video footage of the suspect
sought for the Nov. 14 attack, which
occurred at 5:20 a.m. in the area of
139th Street and 87th Avenue.
According to police, the suspect
approached the 50-year-old man as he
walked through the area and demanded
money. Th at led the victim to hand
over cash, but cops said a struggle
then ensued over the man’s wallet.
During the tussle, law enforcement
sources said, the perpetrator
pulled out a knife and stabbed the
man twice in the chest and stomach.
Aft er wounding the victim, the robber
grabbed his wallet — which contained
$670 in cash — and ran away
on foot in an unknown direction.
Th e incident was later reported to
the 107th Precinct. Police said the
man was brought by private means
to Queens Hospital Center in critical
condition; he was later transferred
to Elmhurst Hospital aft er he was stabilized.
Th e NYPD described the robber as
a man with a slim build and a medium
complexion, standing 5 feet, 11
inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a face mask,
a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and
dark-colored pants.
