 Armed trio fl ees wounds  
 man in Woodside shooting 
 Cops are looking for three men who  
 were involved in a shooting that left  a man  
 injured in Woodside early in the morning  
 of Tuesday, Sept. 17. 
 Authorities say that at around 12:45  
 a.m. on Sept. 17, a 24-year-old man was in  
 the vicinity of 59th Street and Woodside  
 Avenue when he got into a dispute with  
 three unknown men. Th  e dispute escalated  
 when one of the suspects pulled out  
 a gun and shot the man in the abdomen  
 and the right hand. 
 At this time, it is not clear what the reason  
 for the dispute was. Th  e suspects then  
 fl ed the scene in a green taxi. 
 EMS  took  the  victim  to  Elmhurst  
 Hospital in stable condition. 
 At this time, police could not provide  
 a description of the suspects. No arrests  
 have been made at this time and the investigation  
 is ongoing.

 City sanitation employee  
 arrested for attacking a  
 man in Long Island City 
 A city sanitation worker was arrested  
 on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 17,  
 for pushing a man off  of his e-scooter  
 and assaulting him on a Long Island  
 City street. 
 According to police, at 8:20 a.m. on  
 Sept.  17,  a  37-year-old  man  was  riding  
 his e-scooter to work down Crescent  
 Street near 41st Avenue when 46-yearold  
 Patrick Molfetto knocked him off  his  
 scooter. Molfetto then allegedly wrapped  
 his  forearm  around  the  victim’s  neck,  
 obstructing his breathing. 
 Offi  cers from the 114th Precinct and  
 EMS responded to the scene. Th e  victim  
 was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in  
 Queens for minor cuts and abrasions. 
 At  this  time,  it  is  not  clear  what  
 caused Molfetto to push the victim off  
 of his scooter. Molfetto was charged with  
 assault, harassment and criminal obstruction  
 of breathing.

 Thief steal wallet in  
 violent Corona robbery 
 Cops are looking for a crook who stole  
 a man’s wallet during a violent robbery  
 on a Corona street this summer. 
 According to police, at 2 a.m. on Aug.  
 29, a 39-year-old man was walking down  
 39th Avenue near 108th Street when  
 he was approached from behind by an  
 unknown man. Th  e suspect proceeded  
 to grab the victim in a choke hold and  
 forced him down to the ground, punching  
 him multiple times. 
 Th  e suspect then took the victim’s wallet, 
  which contained $300 in cash, before  
 fl eeing the scene on foot in an unknown  
 direction. 
 EMS responded to the location, however  
 the victim refused medical attention  
 at the scene. 
 Th  e suspect is described by police as a  
 tall black man with a medium build. He  
 was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

 Serial groper assaults  
 four women in  
 northwestern Queens 
 Cops are looking for a butt-grabbing  
 creep who touched four women in Long  
 Island City, Sunnyside and Woodside  
 over the course of two months. 
 Police said that the string of assaults  
 began on July 24. At 8:10 a.m. that  
 morning,  a  40-year-old  woman  was  
 walking in the vicinity of 36th Street and  
 47th Avenue when an unknown man  
 approached her on a bike. He proceeded  
 to grab her buttocks over her clothes  
 before fl eeing the scene on his bicycle. 
 Th  e creep struck again 3:20 a.m. on  
 Aug. 5, according to authorities. During  
 this incident, the suspect approached  
 a  22-year-old  woman  in  the  vicinity  
 of 47th Street and 47th Avenue and  
 grabbed her buttocks over her clothes.  
 Th  e perpetrator then fl ed the scene on  
 his bicycle down 47th Avenue. 
 Police said the pattern continued on  
 Aug. 28. At 7:40 a.m. that day, the creep  
 approached a 39-year-old woman in the  
 vicinity of 42nd Street and 47th Avenue  
 and grabbed the victim’s buttocks over  
 her clothes before fl eeing on a bicycle to  
 parts unknown. 
 Finally, at 2 a.m. on Sept. 14, the suspect  
 approached a 20-year-old woman  
 in the vicinity of 50th Avenue and 47th  
 Street and grabbed the victim’s buttocks,  
 over her clothes. Th  e creep then fl ed the  
 scene on a bicycle to parts unknown. 
 Th  ere were no injuries reported as a  
 result of the incidents. 
 Th  e suspect is described as a black  
 man between the ages of 20 and 30 years  
 old. He was last seen wearing all dark  
 clothing.
