 Police searching for duo  
 believed to be connected  
 with North Corona burglary 
 Police  from  the  115th  Precinct  in  
 Jackson Heights are searching for two  
 men in connection with a burglary in  
 north Corona last week. 
 At around 12:30 on the morning of  
 Aug. 25, one of the suspects entered  
 a private residence in the vicinity of  
 99th Street and 39th Avenue through  
 the rear door, according to the NYPD.  
 Once inside, the intruder encountered  
 the homeowner and fl ed empty-handed.  
 Th  e second suspect was acting as a lookout  
 in front of the home, police said. 
 Th  e NYPD released surveillance video  
 of the two men. One was wearing a dark  
 T-shirt and dark pants with work boots  
 and a light blue baseball cap. Th e  other  
 wore a gray long-sleeved shirt, dark pants  
 and a dark baseball cap. 
 No arrests have been made. Th e investigation  
 is ongoing.

 NYPD searching for  
 three masked men in an  
 attempted armed robbery  
 of Jamaica smoke shop 
 Police are searching for three men in  
 connection with an attempted robbery at  
 a smoke shop in Jamaica last week. 
 At around 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27,  
 the three masked men entered the smoke  
 shop at 178-03 Hillside Ave. and an assailant  
 in a Yankees cap grabbed the arm of a  
 store employee from under the plexiglass  
 divider as he drew a black handgun and  
 demanded money, police said. 
 Video surveillance captured a brief  
 struggle that ensued and when the gunman  
 lost his grip on the clerk, the three  
 men left  without the cash and fl ed southbound  
 on 179th Street. 
 Th  e victim refused medical attention,  
 police said. 
 No arrests have been made. Th e investigation  
 is ongoing.

 Police searching for  
 gunmen, getaway driver  
 in Jamaica shooting 
 Police  from  the  103rd  Precinct  in  
 Jamaica are looking for three men in  
 connection with a robbery and shooting  
 incident  just  south  of  the  Arya  
 Spiritual Center early in the morning of  
 Wednesday, July 21. 
 Authorities say that two men approached  
 a group of people in the vicinity of 89-15  
 144th St. around 2 a.m., when one of them  
 opened fi re with a handgun, striking three  
 victims. Another man drove the assailants  
 away in a white SUV, police said. 
 A 25-year-old man was shot in the  
 chest, a 33-year-old man was struck in  
 the arm while a 26-year-old was hit in the  
 foot, according to investigators. 
 EMS responded to the scene and transported  
 the 25-year-old and the 30-yearold  
 to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.  
 Th  e  26-year-old  victim  was  taken  to  
 Booth Memorial Hospital. 
 All three shooting victims were in stable  
 condition, according to the NYPD. 
 One of the gunmen wore a dark T-shirt  
 and jeans with a red baseball cap, while  
 the second man wore a white hooded  
 sweatshirt,  dark  sweatpants  and  white  
 sneakers, police said. 
 Surveillance video shows the gunman  
 in the white hoodie opening fi re as the  
 white SUV cruises alongside him before  
 the three fl ee the scene.
