Cops seek two suspects
in attempted Richmond
Hill robbery
Police are searching for two suspects
who tried to rob a man while armed in
Richmond Hill.
According to authorities, a 56-year-old
man left his car with the key in the ignition
while parked in the intersection of
110th Street and 107th Avenue at about
6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.
When he returned to his car, two
unidentifi ed men tried to go into the
vehicle while wielding a gun and stating
that they were “going to shoot him,”
according to authorities.
Th e victim then entered his car and
the two men fl ed on foot to an unknown
area, without removing any property,
according to police.
No injuries were reported as a result of
the incident. Police released surveillance
video of the incident.
The unidentified individuals are
described as being about 17 to 22 years
old. One of the men was last seen wearing
a black bubble jacket, hoodie and
black pants with black sneakers, while
another was last seen wearing a black
hoodie and sweats, white sneakers and a
blue face mask.

Cops seek crook who allegedly
stole $32,000 worth of
jewelry from Flushing store
Police are looking for a man they say
allegedly stole $32,000 worth of jewelry
from a store in the New World Mall
in Flushing.
According to police, an unidentifi
ed man broke the front glass window
of Lukfook Jewellery and Goldsmith
Jewelry, located at 136-20 Roosevelt
Ave., at about 3:30 p.m. on March 26.
Th e man then removed about $32,000
worth of jewelry from the display,
according to authorities.
He then ran into 40-04 Bowne St. and
fl ed the scene on a bike, heading southbound
on Bowne Street, police say.
Th e man was last seen wearing a blue
baseball cap, a dark-colored jacket, beige
pants, black sneakers and dark backpack.

Cops seek man who stole
cellphones, wallet from
two men after dispute
in East Elmhurst
Police are searching for a man who
allegedly stole cellphones and a wallet
from two men aft er a dispute over a car
accident in East Elmhurst.
On Saturday, May 8, at about 7 p.m.
in front of 32-53 70th St., a 23-year-old
man driving a white Nissan Sentra with
a 55-year-old man passenger were exiting
a parking lot when they collided with
an unidentifi ed man driving a grey Honda
Accord with a woman passenger, according
to police.
Th e two men in the Nissan Sentra and
the unidentifi ed man driving the Honda
Accord, exited their cars and then the
unidentifi ed man began to demand payment
for the damage to his car, according
to authorities. Sources say both cars had
minor damage.
Th e dispute then escalated when the
unidentifi ed man began to punch both
the 23-year-old and 55-year-old men,
according to police. In a surveillance
video released by police, the unidentifi ed
man was seen knocking out the 55-yearold
man and punching the 23-year-old
man in the face while the woman with
him was seen trying to move him away.
Th ere were also several bystanders seen
in the video.
Th e unidentifi ed man then removed the
23-year-old man’s Samsung cellphone and
55-year-old’s Samsung cellphone and wallet,
which contained ID and bank cards,
according to police.
Th e victims refused medical attention,
according to police.
Th e unidentifi ed man and woman then
left the scene in the grey Honda Accord.
