Seniors meet with industry gurus
at Brooklyn Elder Care Expo

Kings County seniors flocked to
Madison for an elder care convention
on Sunday, where dozens of professionals
offered their services to
Brooklyn’s silver foxes.
“It was very interesting and I was
able to help a lot of people,” said Simon
Weiser, from US Asset Finders,
whose company works to recover
property belonging to deceased family
members. “Not a lot of people
know that they have assets from
their loved ones and we are able to
locate that.”
The Brooklyn Elder Care Expo
— which was organized by Brooklyn
Paper’s parent company, Schneps
Media — featured experts discussing
topics including financial
and estate planning, and Medicare,
along with some 40 booths staffed by
industry pros specializing in fields
such as transportation, health, and
finance.
New this year was a networking
breakfast for the pros, which was
followed by a free lunch for those in

attendance.
More than 300 seniors and caregivers
turned out for the event,
which is now in its fourth year.
