between Sept. 21 and Sept. 22.
The victim told police that when
he returned to his apartment near
Avenue Y at 10:40 pm, and returned
the next morning to fi nd that the $600
in cash was missing, cops said.
Bike Thief
Some bandits stole a man’s bicycle
he locked to a pole on Avenue U on
Sept. 15.
The victim told police the perps
approached him near E. 19th Street
at 11:30 pm, brandishing a knife and
cable cutter, before fl eeing with the
bike, cops said.

A brute snatched a phone from a

The victim told police as she was

Cops cuffed a 16-year-old boy for
allegedly stabbing his 14-year-old relative
with a key on 17th Avenue on
Sept. 16.
The victim told police that the defendant
struck him in the head following
a heated argument between
80th and 81st streets at around 9:15
pm.
The 14-year-old suffered a laceration
to his head, but was not seriously
injured, authorities claimed.
Hell in a cell
A thief attempted to swipe a woman’s
phone on 72nd Street on Sept. 15.
The victim told police that she was
talking on her phone between 17th
and 18th avenues at 4:15 am, when
the robber jumped out from behind
a tree and covered her mouth as she
screamed.
The thief tried to nab her phone
but she fought him off, and he scampered
off empty handed, cops said.
Malpractice
A hoaxer tricked a Gravesend man
into sending him $65,000 on Sept. 17.
The victim, who lives on Cropsey
Avenue between 21st Avenue and Bay
28th Street, told police he received an
email from his lawyer’s account at
2:30 pm, asking for the down payment
on a house he was planning to buy.
The victim sent the money via wire
transfer before meeting up with his
lawyer, who claimed that he never
sent the email, cops said.
Violent robbery
Two ruffi ans beat up a man and
stole his cellphone on Lake Street on
Sept. 17.
The victim told police the perps attacked
him in his front yard between
Kings Highway and Avenue S at 4:45
am, punching him in the face and
causing him to drop his phone. The
robbers snatched the cell and ran
northbound on Lake Street, police reported.
Bad guest
A man stole $2,000 and jewelry
while she was in the shower on 77th
Street on Sept. 21.
The victim told police that the
thief looted her purse while she was
showering at her home between 20th
and 21st avenues, stealing the cash
and over $1,000 worth of jewelry.

The victim told police he was delivering
a package near Glenwood Road
at 12:20 pm, when the crook nabbed

The victim told police that the

slashing a guy with a knife during
a botched 52nd Street home invasion
on Sept. 18.
The victim told police the suspect
repeatedly kicked the front door
of his house between Seventh and
Eight avenues at around 5 pm, when
the victim confronted the man and a
scuffl e ensued, during which the suspect
slashed the victim’s hand with a
pocket knife.
Police cuffed the suspect on felony
assault and robbery charges, cops
said

Cops cuffed a man for allegedly assaulting
his roommate inside their
49th Street apartment on Sept. 18.
The victim told police that an argument
with his roommate inside
their pad near Third Avenue turned
violent at around 2 am, when the suspect
hit the victim in the face with a

assault charges, cops said.
