Park Cafe, an unassuming diner located
at 82 7th Ave., not far from Grand
Army Plaza in Park Slope, has suddenly
closed up shop after more than
two decades in business.
“Yesterday all was as usual. No
word of closing. Now they are gone for
good,” a tipster emailed Brownstoner
Tuesday night.
On Aug. 6, the diner’s hours sign
posted in the window read “Closed permanently.
Thank you loyal patrons.”
The mixed-use brownstone building,
three units over a storefront, last
changed hands in 1989.
It has been on and off the market for
years, and was asking $4.5 million in
2017.
Will you miss the diner?
