Two brigands mugged an drunk
man on Fifth Avenue on July 29.
The victim told police that he was
walking home from a bar between
26th and 27th streets when the two
pillagers approached and began
punching him repeatedly shortly
after midnight. Once the victim fell
to the fl oor, the robbers stole his cell
phone and his shoes, cops said.
Sunset slasher
A blade-wielding bozo stabbed a
man on Fourth Avenue on July 29.
The victim told police that he
was walking between 56th and 57th
streets at around 10:20 a.m., when
the savage approached and cut him
in the lower back with an unknown
object, cops said.
The victim sustained minor injuries
and refused medical treatment
from fi rst responders, according to
police.
Locked up
Police arrested a suspect who allegedly
broke the front door lock to
his own Fourth Avenue apartment
on July 17.
The suspect’s landlord claims
the renter covered the inside of the
lock in crazy glue at around 11 a.m.,
causing $500 in damage to the door
of the apartment between 55th and
56th streets, police said.
Police arrested the 51-year-old
suspect on July 25 on criminal
mischief charges, according to
authorities.
Cycle of crime
A thief stole a man’s bike on
Eighth Avenue on July 28.
The victim told police he left
the unlocked bike for fi ve minutes
between 43rd and 44th streets at
around 11:30 p.m., before the thief
hopped on and rode off toward 42nd
Street, cops said.
Bank bandit
A forger scammed a 16th Street
woman out of $5,000 on July 22.
The victim, who resides between
Seventh and Eighth avenues, told
police that the swindler produced a
fraudulent check using the victim’s
banking information, and cashed
the check at around 9 a.m., cops
said.
Disgruntled employee
Police arrested a man suspected
of ransacking a 16th Street business
on July 23.
The owner told police that the
suspect, a former employee, broke
into the store between Third and
Fourth avenues at around noon,
before nabbing $6,000 worth of
innovatory.

Police obtained surveillance
video allegedly showing the suspect
loading the ill-gotten good into a
van during the burglary, cops said.
Police caught up with the suspect
on July 26 and arrested him on
felony grand larceny charges, cops

A mail thief cashed a Windsor
Place woman’s check worth $2,200
on July 21.
The victim, who lives between
10th and 11th avenues, told police
that she had mailed a check
worth $65 on July 14, but the baddie
snagged the check and changed the
information before cashing it into
their bank account at around 5 p.m.,
cops said.

A bruiser assaulted a man with
an empty beer bottle on Fourth Avenue
on July 28.
The victim told police that he
was walking between 56th and 57th
streets when the perp approached
and hit him in the head with an
empty glass bottle at around 5:30
p.m., cops said.

Pistol-packing perps
Four gunmen robbed a man at a
Washington Avenue parking lot on
July 23.
The victim told police that he
pulled his car into the garage between
Park and Myrtle avenues at
11:45 p.m., when the nogoodniks
walked up to the driver-side door
and uttered their threats.
“Don’t move, I’ve been watching
you since the movies, get on the
fl oor,” one of the goons allegedly
snarled.
When the victim refused, one
thief pulled out a gun and growled,
“I’ll blow your f-----g head off,” before
snatching his watch, car keys,
bank card, and drivers license, according
to cops.
Knife guys
A group of knife-wielding goons
robbed a guy on Washington Avenue
on July 23.
The victim told police that he was
near DeKalb Avenue when the villains
snuck up from behind, pulled
out their blades at 11:40 p.m.
The thieves snatched the man’s
phone and bag, before making a run
for it towards the Clinton-Washington
Avenues G train station, cops
said.
Not too sharp
Police arrested a guy they suspect
of slashing his girlfriend on
Navy Walk on July 28.
The victim told police that she
and her beau got into an argument
when the suspect allegedly
picked up 8-inch knives, fl ung them
around, slashing her right hand, inside
the apartment near Myrtle Avenue
at 9:10 p.m.
Cops rushed to the scene and
tried to cuff the suspect, who
dropped the knife but fl ed down the
stairwell with one handcuff on, before
he was caught by another cop
in Fort Greene Park around 9:45
p.m., according to the authorities.
Police slapped the suspect with
felony assault charges for the incident.
Best buds
A brute choked a woman on Clinton
Avenue on July 25.
The victim told police she was
near Myrtle Avenue when her
friend came up to her and put her
in a choke hold before making a run
for it at 7:30 p.m.
Package perp
A thief stole a man’s packages on
Grand Avenue on July 6.
The victim told cops he was left
for the weekend at 8:30 a.m. and
when he returned the next day at 8
p.m., he saw that someone had stolen
four packages from his place between
Park and Myrtle avenues.

Street on July 24.
The victim told cops that the
ne’er-do-wells walked up to him
with a box cutter and demanded he
hand over his wallet at Hicks Street
just before 1 a.m.
The man obliged and the villains
made a run for it towards Cranberry
Street, according to cops.
Sworn to scam
A charlatan scammed a woman
Downtown on July 23.
The victim told police that
someone called her offi ce line at a
MetroTech Center bank near Gold
Street from a number belonging to
a Queens police precinct, where a
man on the other end claimed her
identifi cation had been stolen for
drug traffi cking and that she needed
to wire over $23,000 at 11:30 a.m.
The hoaxer told the woman that
if she didn’t pay them they would
dispatch police to arrest her, so she
transferred the money but later realized
that she had been duped, according
to the authorities.

July 25.
The victim told cops that he met
the woman on the dating site sugardaddymeet.
com before inviting
her over to his digs for the night between

he noticed that the scoundrel
had left and pocketed $100 and his
credit card, which she made several
purchases with before he canceled
it with his bank, according to the
authorities.

A sneak nabbed a woman’s purse
on Hoyt Street on July 26.
The victim told cops she was
waiting to pick up her food at a
Chinese restaurant between State
Street and Atlantic Avenue when
the bandit grabbed the bag from her

The victim told police the punks

police said.

The victim told police he parked
