Cops cuffed a woman for allegedly
punching an 80-year-old
woman in the face on Park Place on
July 13.
The victim told police that she
was walking between Carlton and
Vanderbilt avenues when the 27-
year-old suspect approached and
slugged her at around noon, cops
said.
First responders took the woman
to Methodist Hospital for treatment
of minor injuries.
Police tracked down their suspect
and charged her with felony assault
the following day, cops said.
Helter shelter
Police arrested a woman for allegedly
assaulting another woman
on Eighth Avenue on July 8.
The victim told police she was
standing outside the women’s shelter
between 14th and 15th streets
when she began arguing with the
suspect. The argument escalated,
and the woman allegedly hit the
68-year-old victim in the face, cops
said.
Police arrived on the scene and
slapped the suspect with felony assault
charges, according to police
reports.

A shoplifter looted a Fourth Avenue
store on July 11.
Store employees stole police that
the thief nabbed approximately $50
worth of tuna fi sh cans at around 10
a.m., before hightailing it with his
ill-gotten fi sh, cops said.

Cops arrested a man for allegedly
looting shelves at an Atlantic
Avenue store on July 9.
Security guards told police that
they stopped the suspect from making
off with about $34 worth of merchandise
from the store near Flatbush
Avenue at 3 p.m.
Cops showed up to cuff the suspect
soon after on a misdemeanor
larceny charge, cops said.
Road rage
Some wacko assaulted a bicyclist
on Plaza Street West on July 9.
The victim told police that he was
riding between Union and Berkeley
streets at around 9 p.m., when the
brute approached and began punching
him repeatedly without saying a
word, cops said.

A punk smashed a woman’s
phone in Prospect Park on July 9.
The victim told police that she
was walking her dog near the
Ninth Street entrance to the park
at around 9:30 a.m., when the unknown
lout grabbed her phone and
threw it to the ground, causing the
screen to crack, cops said.

Battered up
A bat-wielding bandit beat and
robbed a man on Third Avenue on
July 9.
The victim told police the bruiser
approached him near 34th Street at
around 3:30 p.m., cracking him over
the head with the slugger, before
nabbing $30 from his pocket, cops
said.
Paramedics rushed the victim
to a nearby hospital for treatment,
while the crook took off running,
according to authorities.
Sunset swindler
A con man stole $75,000 from a
44th Street woman on July 2.
The victim told police that she
received a phone call from an unknown
man, who threatened to
track her down and beat her unless
she paid up. The victim, who lives
between Seventh and Eighth Avenues,
sent two wire transfers totaling
$75,000 shortly before midnight,
cops said.
Smash and grab
A thief looted a parked car on
Third Avenue on July 1.
The victim told police that he left
his vehicle between 50th and 51st
streets at around midnight, only to
return the next morning to discover
his drivers-side window shattered
and $10,000 worth of electronics stolen,
cops said.
Rough housing
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
beating a man inside his 53rd
Street home on July 12.
The victim told police that he
was arguing with his brother inside
their house between Third and
Fourth avenues at 9 p.m. Things
heated up when a third man attempted
to physically restrain the
victim, and bashed him in the head
with the handle of his knife, cops
said. When police showed, they
cuffed suspect on a felony assault
charge, according to authorities.
Midnight picker
A pickpocket stole a woman’s

wallet on Fifth Avenue on July 12.
The victim told police the thief
snuck up on her near 61st Street
and grabbed the wallet out of her
purse at shortly after midnight. She
turned around just in time to spy
the purloiner as he escaped towards
60th Street, cops said.
Busted brutes
Police arrested two men suspected
of brutally assaulting a man
on Fourth Avenue on July 14.
The victim told police the suspects
waltzed up and socked him between
Third and Fourth avenues at
11 p.m., before laying into him with
fl urry of blows.
Police tracked down the two suspects,
who were in possession of
multiple illicit drugs, and arrested
them on felony assault and narcotics
possession charges, according to
authorities.
Home invasion
A burglar ransacked a 52nd
Street home on July 8.
The victim told police that the
thief entered the building between
Fifth and Sixth avenues through an
unlocked bedroom window sometime
after 10 a.m., before nabbing
$1,300 worth of property.

Highway robber!
A thief robed a biker — on the
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway — at
knife point on July 13.
The victim told police he was
cruising on the highway near Cumberland
Street when he dropped his
wallet at 10:15 p.m.
He pulled over to pick it up, when
a lout in a red jeep pulled over, got
out, and snatched the wallet off the
road, before yanking out the cash
and cards, and tossing it off the side
of the elevated roadway, according
to police.
When the victim walked up to
the wacko, he pulled out a knife and
threatened him, cops said.

Cops cuffed a man for allegedly
whacking a man with a golf club on
Fulton Street on July 9.
The victim told cops that he was
arguing with the suspect near St.
James Place at 4:50 p.m., when the
guy grabbed the club and practiced
his swing on the man’s leg.
The victim went to Brooklyn
Hospital for treatment, while cops
arrested the suspect and charged
him with felony assault, according
to the authorities.
Creep
Police arrested a man for allegedly
beating a woman inside a Myrtle
Avenue apartment on July 10.
The victim told police that she
was arguing with the suspect inside
the abode near Ashland Place at 7:45
p.m., when he allegedly pulled out a
knife and charged at her.
The woman managed to knock
the blade out of his hand, but the
suspect slammed her to the fl oor,
choked her until she briefl y lost consciousness,
and punched her repeatedly,
while banging her head on the
ground, according to police.
Police arrested the man later
that day, charging him with felony
assault, cops said.

A thief nabbed a man’s phone
from a Clermont Avenue homeless
shelter on July 14.
The victim told cops that he went
to bed and left his phone charging
in the bathroom at the shelter near
Park Avenue at 4 a.m. and when
he woke up later that day, he saw
that someone had taken it, along
with his Bluetooth headphones and
smart watch.
Bike bandit
Cops arrested a man for allegedly
stealing a Citi Bike at Flushing
Avenue at July 11.
A police offi cer reportedly
stopped the 19-year-old after spotting
him riding the bike on a sidewalk
near Carlton Avenue at 1 a.m.
The cop arrested the teen suspect
after discovering that the ubiquitous
blue rental bike he was pedaling
been stolen back in April,
landing him with a felony larceny
charge, according to authorities.

Gunning for loot
A trio of pistol-packing perps
robbed a man at gunpoint on Nevins
Street on July 8.
The victim told cops that a
woman sauntered up asking to bum
a cigarette between Wyckoff and
Bergen streets at 4 a.m. He replied
to say he was out, when two men
turned up, and the woman tossed
one a black revolver, while snarling,
“Give me everything you got!”
The man duly handed his wallet
over to the gun-toting gangsters,
who fl ed into a nearby housing complex,
cops said.
