phone and Chinese currency from a
man in a failed transaction made on
W. Seventh Street on April 13.
The victim told police that he was
supposed to trade his currency with
the bandits at the corner of Avenue
V around 6:55 pm, but they instead
threatened him with a fi rearm and
robbed him.
Lotto loon
A bandit swiped more $1,890
worth of lottery tickets from an 86th
Street convenience store on April
13.
The victim told police that the
lawbreaker entered the store at the
intersection of Avenue X at around
6:30 am, before grabbing the stolen
goods and running off undetected.
Storage wars
Pillagers broke into about 150 individual
storage units at a Knapp
Street facility on April 13.
An employee told police that the
crooks entered the building at the
corner of Voorhies Avenue around
7 pm, before stealing property and
running off.

A prowler drove off with a stolen
vehicle from a Hart Place private
parking garage on April 1.
An employee told police that the
carjacker broke into the property
at the corner of W. 15th Street at
around 9 am by cutting through a
fence, before hopping in the car and
driving off.
Crazy taxi
A highway robber swiped a meter
and tablet from a taxi parked on
Brighton Fourth Street on April 7.
The victim told police that he returned
to his vehicle between Ocean
View and Neptune avenues around
3:30 am to see the front passenger
window smashed and $2,000 worth
of property stolen.
Basement blues
A home invader snagged various
electronics from a Neptune Avenue
home while the owner was sleeping
inside on April 14.
The victim told police that the
thief broke into the basement of
his house near the intersection of
E. 12th Street around 1 am and fl ed
with the stolen goods.

A gang of goons robbed an e-biker
on Dekalb Avenue on April 14.
The victim told police that the
six scoundrels surrounded him at
St. James Place at around 8:45 pm
before grabbing the bike.
Gang robbery
Four fi ends beat up a delivery
man and stole his phone on Park Avenue
on April 17.
The victim told police that the
brutes pushed him off his bike and
assulted him at Waverly Avenue at
6:40 pm before stealing his phone.
Cashing in
Looters stole an ATM from a
Fulton Street diner on the night of
April 12.
An employee told police that the
pillagers broke the lock on the front
door of the eatery at Vanderbilt Avenue
between 6 pm and 4:45 am the
next morning, before taking cash
from the dispenser.
Eat that!
A bandit took off with a mountain
bike from a Fulton Street restaurant
on April 18.
The victim told police that the
purloiner got into the eatery near
St. James Place at 9:16 am and tried
to take the cash register, before leaving
with just the bicycle.
Wheely bad
Some nogoodnik nabbed a guy’s
e-bike at Ashland Place on April 13.
The victim told police that the
rascal took his bike between Willoughby
Street and Myrtle Avenue
at 6:40 pm, before wheeling away.

Purse purloiner
A bandit stole an elderly woman’s
purse from a W. Ninth Street
food pantry on April 20.
The 76-year-old victim told police
that the pirate stole her purse from
a shopping cart at the community
center between Henry and Clinton
streets at around 11 am.
Violent robbery
Two marauders attacked a man
on Columbia Street and stole his
phone on April 15.
The victim told police that the
two ruffi ans knocked him to the
ground between President and Carroll
streets at 3 pm, before punching
and kicking him and slashing his
face with a sharp object — before
snagging his $1200 cellphone, social
security card, and two bank cards.
License plate lout
A thief stole a Tennessee license
plate from a car parked on Summit
Street on April 16.
The victim told police that the
bandit nabbed the Tennessee state
plate from his 2014 silver Chevy
parked between Hamilton and Columbia
streets sometime between
2:30 am and 5 pm.

BENSONHURST—BATH BEACH
Padlock punch
Cops cuffed a woman for allegedly
punching a man in the face and
smacking him with a padlock on
Bay 16th Street on April 18.
The victim told police that he
was staying at his friend’s house
between Benson Avenue and 86th
Street when the suspect allegedly
punched him in the face at 4:30 am,
causing a laceration to his lip, and
then hit him in the back with a padlock.
Snack attack
A thief stole a water bottle and
an apple from a 66th Street hotel on
April 18.
An employee told police that the
looter broke the lock on the hotel’s
door on the corner of 18th Avenue
at 4:30 am, before nabbing a Poland
Springs water bottle and an apple.

A 33-year-old man was shot to
death in broad daylight Sunday
morning near a busy Brooklyn gas
station, police offi cials said.
Cops say the victim — identifi
ed as Michael Ingram of East Orange,
New Jersey — was shot in
the arm and chest. He was rushed
to Brookdale University Medical
Center where he was pronounced
dead about 30 minutes later.
The shooting occurred at 8:53
am on April 19 near the BP gas station
at the corner of Pennsylvania
Avenue and Linden Boulevard in
East New York.
Offi cers from the 75th Precinct
fOffi cers found the victim lying in
the street with gunshot wounds,
and a 9mm handgun that was believed
to have been used by Ingram
to shoot at his attacker.
Police now believe the victim
exchanged shots with another man
in the gas station.
Authorities say the suspect or
suspects escaped in a white Mercedes
Benz SUV, heading north on
Pennsylvania Avenue. They also
believe that the driver’s side window
was blown out by the victim.
“I heard bang, bang, bang, back
to back, I looked out my kitchen
window and the guy was laying
there.” said one witness, a local
resident who asked not to be identifi
ed.
