Manhattan-based eyewear company
Warby Parker will open its third Brooklyn
location on Jan. 25.
The new Park Slope outpost, located
at 208 Flatbush Ave. between Dean and
Bergen streets, follows the opening of
a Williamsburg location in 2019 and a
Boerum Hill storefront marked the company’s
fi rst venture into the borough in
2016.
“Brooklyn is home to so many designers,
entrepreneurs, and artists cultivating
an incredibly supportive community,”
says co-founder and co-CEO
Dave Gilboa. “Naturally, we fi nd ourselves
drawn to this energetic borough
that’s only a train ride away from our
headquarters.”
The new brick-and-mortar location
gives customers the chance to try on eye
and sunglasses frames, and patrons can
arrange in-store exams and contact lens
fi ttings, as well as eyeglass repair and
adjustments.
The price of frames hovers around
$95 — albeit, with some higher value
collections — which if paired with prescription
lenses can be ordered in-store
and mailed to your home.
The brand will launch its newest
spring collections — Spring 2020 and
Spring Sun —at the Flatbush Avenue location
as the company’s fi rst store opening
of 2020.
The store’s two entrances — with its
second facade on Bergen Street — are
both decked out in sky blue and covered
with cartoon images painted by Brooklyn
artist Saskia Keultjes, who will also
be in attendance at the store’s opening.
The illustrator will provide custom
caricatures for customers to take home
from noon to 2 pm for the store’s grand
opening celebration on Saturday, where
she’ll be joined by free pastries from
Doughnut Plant and the store’s nextdoor
neighbor Ovenly.
